We have eaten there several times. Food is consistently very good, prices are very reasonable and the service is quite good. Restaurant is very unpretentious. It has never been crowded when we have been there (generally week nightly) and is quiet enough for normal conversation.
I met up with a friend of mine for dinner at this restaurant (halfway between SF and my town) and we were glad that we found this place. It's a very welcoming, nicely decorated restaurant with super friendly, kind and helpful staff. The food was very delicious, they have multiple vegan and vegetarian options. It was not too busy on a Wednesday afternoon, so we could chat in a quiet environment. We are definitely going to be back.
Parking is available in nearby lots or on the streets (free after 6pm).
Fantastic Burmese in Burlingame. Have visited several times for dinner and always been pleased. Their sesame orange chicken is actually well rounded (not just sweet), and their pumpkin chicken is delicious.
35% gratuity for a party of 3 is outrageous
Edit: Party member received serious food poisoning after eating here.
Yangon Burmese and Mandarin Cuisine in Burlingame offers solid, flavorful dishes at a very reasonable price point. The menu features a good variety of Burmese and Chinese options, and the portions are generous, making it a good value for anyone looking for a satisfying meal without spending too much.
The food is well-prepared, with standout items like the tea leaf salad, garlic noodles, and curry dishes that bring a lot of flavor without being overly heavy. It’s clear the kitchen puts care into their cooking, and the consistency across dishes is appreciated. While it’s not overly fancy or modern, the dining area is clean and comfortable.
Service is friendly and efficient. Staff members are attentive without being overbearing, and orders tend to come out in a timely manner. Whether dining in or taking food to go, the experience is smooth and pleasant.
Overall, Yangon is a reliable neighborhood spot that delivers good food for the money. It’s a great choice if you’re looking for something flavorful, filling, and fairly priced in the Burlingame area.
We get takeout from here often. The food is consistently tasty and they are usually pretty quick with service and delivery. The price is a tad on the higher side, but it's at par with the location and current day prices with inflation. Favorite dishes: tea leaf salad, burmese beef curry, mangolian beef, chow mein (kids love it), spicy basil fish.
Outstanding Food - the Vegetable Curry and the Singapore Noodles were absolutely Delicious! And really great service too.
Had a tofu dish. Rice wasn’t included. Lots of tofu but not much else

This is an incredible restaurant. The best shredded pork and garlic sauce I’ve had in years. The Burmese chow fun was incredible. If you miss it, you’re an idiot. The food is wonderful, the chef needs an incredible pat on the back for being so great. Service was spectacular If I could give it 10 stars, I would

$17.50 for tofu and rice (the orange sauce was tasty). And 17.50 for tofu and noodle entre. Very little creativity and no vegetables. Samusas were okay. You don’t get much sauce. Pretty cheap food with no flavor to end up with a $60 bill. Not worth the price at all. Service was okay and atmosphere is nothing exciting. Wouldn’t go again.
