After a snowy morning at Lassen, we stopped by for a cup of hot coffee and a slice of pie. Opted to order meals first. Good food, good service, reasonable prices in today's climate, served in a diner like atmosphere complete with service counter and well-worn booths. Oh, and the warmed homemade blueberry cobbler really hit the spot.
Best meal we had in Burney. Staff was prompt and knew what they were doing. Breakfast was good and large portions. Waitress was awesome and knew of some good hiking spots with waterfalls. We'll be back!

Hearty breakfasts! Chicken Fried Steak was tasty and came with eggs, potatoes, and pancakes (or toast / biscuits & gravy). The pancakes were also quite good - fluffy, soft and yet toothsome. Staff was friendly too. I'd definitely come here for breakfast again if I were back in the area.
