Based on reviews, we took a short drive from the 5 freeway, drove to Buttonwillow & enjoyed a relaxing lunch. We ordered tortas (1 pastor & 1 chicken) at the counter & got an assortment of salsas & pickled vegetables while we waited. The food was great, service was pleasant & the simple restaurant was clean & comfortable. This was a nice break from the freeway and fast food. ☺️

Probably the best Mexican breakfast we’ve had in years. The huevos rancheros chile verde with fresh corn tortillas, nice salsas, perfectly cooked eggs. Enjoy!
