Based on reviews, we took a short drive from the 5 freeway, drove to Buttonwillow & enjoyed a relaxing lunch. We ordered tortas (1 pastor & 1 chicken) at the counter & got an assortment of salsas & pickled vegetables while we waited. The food was great, service was pleasant & the simple restaurant was clean & comfortable. This was a nice break from the freeway and fast food. ☺️
This restaurant was one of the best mexican food I ever had. I definitely recommend them if you are traveling on Freeway 5. Everything was super fresh and tasty. We got the Fajitas and the ceviche. AMAZINGGG …
Food was really good! Definitely recommend the chilaquiles. We also got a wet green burrito with Carne asada. The meat was juicy and flavorful. Salsa was really good, it had a smokey chipotle flavor to it. If you are driving down the 5 fwy it is definitely worth the detour.
