I had to make a nighttime run to Bakersfield to give my old pal'et Buck Toothed Mary bail money for her old man because he got caught making moonshine again. Maybe this time they'll take the still away from him. But...The good thing about the trip is stopping at the McDonald's here in Buttonwillow, it's been on my radar since it was rated the best McDonald's in California! It's not hard to figure out why it's worthy of a two hour drive, all you've got to do is look at the food they put out. This McDonalds does it Right! I had the ham, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich...just take a look and you decide if it wins the title of the best of the best! ☆☆☆☆☆

App let me order at 10:50pm. Saying it closes at midnight. Show up before 11, lights still on, and they say it’s too late to serve any food. As soon as I drive off the turn off all the lights.

Located off the 5 freeway (Buttonwillow exit) about halfway between northern and southern California, this McDonald's is the best, cleanest place to stop for food and a bio break. Yep, the cleanest. Beware of the fruit flies outside; get back into your car quickly.
