Satisfied cravings on our quick stopover on our way to SJC, from Lancaster!!! It’s been a while since I had biryani treat! Thank you Taste of India 😬👍🏻
I had noticed this place while traveling on i5 particularly because of their advertising their vegan food and thought I must try it. The look and feel of this place reminds me of a "dhaba" in India which is like a roadside eatery serving delicious north indian food. The menu has clearly marked items that can be veganized and the server knew as well as was frank about what would be good for us. We had aloo godhi, yellow daal and tandoori rotis. It was very flavorful and a little on the spicy side but not so much that I couldn't enjoy the food. Food was more than enough for 2 ppl. I would definitely go here again.
The food was incredible! The prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food. I am definitely stopping here again when we road trip from San Jose to LA again !
Lots of Vegetarian

If you’re a fan of frozen food, this is the spot for you. They serve meals in plastic containers and polystyrene plates, which I thought were banned in California. The microwave-heated dishes were so hot that the containers and plates ended up melting.

Been passing this place a couple times a year when traveling between SF and LA, but never went in. Glad I did this time. Great vegan, Vegetarian and meat options make it perfect for our family. Food is great, and atmosphere is basic and authentic. We had vegetable biryani, the boys had samosas, lamb biryani and butter chicken. Everyone had great food. Food was spiced perfectly to order for each of us, from "no spice" to "medium spice." 100% looking forward to stopping here every time, from now on.

Food was very disappointing. Curries and rotis were not fresh and were very hard to chew and eat.

Food was ok. Overcharged and the atmosphere was terrible. Plastic spoons and plates and bathroom was absolutely rancid.

I recently visited this restaurant, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing.
Food Quality: The food quality was subpar. I ordered Shahi Paneer, and the gravy was watery with only 4–5 small cubes of paneer. The Gulab Jamun was served cold, as though straight out of the refrigerator.
Presentation: Food was served in disposable plates and with disposable utensils, which felt inappropriate given the high prices, comparable to a 4-star restaurant.
Service and Attitude: To my surprise, a 15% tip was automatically charged despite the poor food quality and service. When I brought up my concerns to the staff, their response was unprofessional—they seemed indifferent and did not offer an apology.
For the prices being charged, I expected far better quality, service, and presentation. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving the overall dining experience.

Food was really disappointing, not tasty at all. The price was promising something done with love, and it wasn't at all.

So good!!! Being from the bay area, I've had my share of Indian food and by far this is the most authentic I've had. Fresh ingredients, full of flavor, and service was top notch! I'll definitely be back when in the area again! Vegans - this is your place!

Giving it 5 stars solely based on the food. Ignore customer service if you can lol but food was definitely one of the best North Indian food I have tasted recently!

not an expert on indian food, but i didnt like it here. food is way expensive. ordered chicken tikka masala and it came without rice. the plain rice was $5 which is a robbery if you ask me. chicken tikka masala was $14. the garlic naan wasnt fully cooked didnt taste any garlic. also, felt like i was being disrespected by the people working here. if you arent indian, stay away.
