Just stopped by Taste of India in Buttonwillow and was seriously impressed! I had the chicken tikka masala, and it was full of rich flavor with just the right amount of spice. The staff were super friendly and the service was fast, which was perfect for a quick bite on the road. It’s a great little spot if you’re craving Indian food in a laid-back setting. Will definitely be back next time I’m passing through!
I had noticed this place while traveling on i5 particularly because of their advertising their vegan food and thought I must try it. The look and feel of this place reminds me of a "dhaba" in India which is like a roadside eatery serving delicious north indian food. The menu has clearly marked items that can be veganized and the server knew as well as was frank about what would be good for us. We had aloo godhi, yellow daal and tandoori rotis. The food was incredible! The prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food. I am definitely stopping here again when we road trip from San Jose to LA again !
