Terrible service, bad coffee, order sat in window for 5 plus minutes, then order was wrong. Pork chops were very thin and chewy. Then when mentioned all this at checkout they offered no compensation at all. On a good note, the burgers were great.

One of our reliable places to stop for a bite to eat on road trips. We come here mostly for its convenient location and the friendly service. The food is nothing special, but it hits the spot and is well priced.

Kid-friendliness: Provides coloring pages and crayons for kids, and water cups with lids. Seating is kid friendly.

Fantastic accidental find. Great break from all the fast food franchises along the 5. Had an enjoyable dinner. My wife and I both ordered the brisket dinner and were both very pleased. The brisket was melt in your mouth good, moist and perfectly cooked. The BBQ sauce was great. I had the potato salad and it too didn't disappoint.
Steve was our server and was quick, helpful and friendly.
We will most certainly be back.

March 2023 we've been back a few times since the original post. We both had the brisket dinner. Juicy, tasty and as tender as it could be. Why we keep coming back.

November 2023 We did a southwest trip over the summer covering AZ, UT, CO, NM & NV. For some reason brisket was the typical meal. None on them came close to being on par with Willow Ranch Brisket. It keeps us coming back.

The Brisket was worth coming back for. Absolutely delicious, full of flavor, juices and so tender you can cut it with your fork. The service was great as well super friendly waiter and I didn’t have wait long at all to order or for the food or bill which was much appreciated. As Arnold says, I’ll be back! 5 stars for sure.

This a great little place in Button Willow. Right off of I-5 at the ButtonWillow exit. If you don't want fast food, this is the place. Had a tri tip sandwich with onion rings. Way better than the fast food down the block.

Forgot to take pictures, ate it too fast.

BBQ Tri tip and BBQ Shredded Chicken sandwiches were great! And great staff

Brisket was tasty and tender but everything was covered in sauce. Chicken was deep fried and very dry and overcooked. Sweet potato fries were good.

Happened upon this quaint locals spot in Buttonwillow, CA! Had their signature Plow Boy sandwich and fried okra! Everything was fresh and exceptional! Of course everyone is a BBQ critic, but this one was spot on!! Got their house made cobbler to go, yum! Will definitely visit again!

Classic road-side diner done well. It’s not worth a detour but worth a stop on your way.
