I was staying in Buttonwillow for the weekend and this place was so good I got dinner here on both nights. The smoked brisket was incredible and all the sides were perfect as well. Service was exceptional and everyone was so friendly. Also a great value for the price. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a delicious meal in Buttonwillow.

A Gold mine in that area. I promise you, anyone that stops there to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner will never not stop there again. And for you Tesla drivers, there is a huge Tesla charging area right near there!

Ordered the brisket dinner and the bacon cheeseburger. Husband wasn't fond of the brisket. He said it was tender but it wasn't what you expect of brisket. To me it looked like a thin piece of tri tip. My bacon cheeseburger was good but could have used some basic seasoning.
Now enough about the food, Destiny, our server, was perfect! She was friendly and attentive. Her alone made the meal worth it

Steak was absolutely amazing. We will get back to that.
My server was a sweetheart. Very nice and very attentive. She earned every penny of her tip and some.
The atmosphere was casual and calm. Very comforting.
Now back to the food.
The salad, which I forgot to photograph was great.
The Jalapeño Poppers were molten lava. If you get them, let them cool a few minutes. I blistered my lip with the cheese AFTER my server warned me.
Baked Potato, Beans and Dinner Roll were good.
The STEAK, oh my god, the STEAK.
One of the best tasting steaks I have ever had the pleasure of eating.
Not only was it cooked to perfection, the flavor was sublime.
I very highly recommend this place.

Didn’t think it was possible, but this place proved you can make ribs and potatoes taste awful. The ribs tasted like they were cooked straight from frozen and dropped into old, over-fried oil. The potatoes were bland and tasteless, zero flavor, zero effort.
Great service, our server was professional and friendly, but the food seriously needs a reset. As it stands, not worth stopping by here. Go get something from a gas station and it will taste 100% better.
Maribella, Steve and the entire staff we fast and friendly. Great Food!

This is a super late review, but I went here in November last year and we were on our way home from a Sacramento trip and Midway. I just had the urge to get some barbecue. And I'm so glad that the urge hit me right as we were approaching Willow Ranch. I cannot express to you how comfortable I felt how friendly the staff was. It felt like you were eating at someone's home. Every single thing we got was absolutely delicious. Every time I took a bite into something new I had to pause and just be like wow, nothing on this plate is less than Stellar. Their barbecue is phenomenal and I was sad that I was going to go home and not have this available to me to enjoy because it's the best barbecue sauce I've ever had. I think the staff might have noticed how much I was enjoying the food because they were all smiles when they came by to check on us and it was just the best experience. When we go to check out I look up and I see that they have a tower of these barbecue sauces available to purchase and take home and I was like oh my God I get to take some home. This is the best!! And the gentleman that was helping us check out look like he was of some type of a leadership role here and just had a good vibe and hospitality and when I asked if I could get one of those to purchase, I nearly cried because he said of course you can take that one home on the house. And I nearly cried in the car. I was just blown away and flabbergasted because things like this never happened to me. This food at Willow ranch is worth the drive, and I got biscuits and gravy on the side and asked for both the gravy so that I could try them out since I don't know when would be the next time I could make it back up and they without hesitation brought me both. I'm from La so asking questions like this. We'll just make somebody roll their eyes into another universe but no feelings of uncomfortableness and just asking questions was felt. My husband and I enjoyed the best lunch we could have had before driving all the way home that night from Sacramento. So do whoever that was who comped me the barbecue sauce, just know that that same feeling is felt each and every time I try your barbecue sauce. I feel the love that went into the food. I feel the hospitality and it makes me feel warm and fuzzy each and every bite. Good bless you all and I hope to come back very soon! Love this place!!

It was alright. Nice servers, plenty of space, accessible bathrooms. Meh food.
The kids meals had a good amount of fruit, which is good. Kids tri tip was terribly overdone, but the quantity was OK. My brisket sandwich was below average - I didn't see any evidence of it being BBQ (read: smoke ring) other than the presence of BBQ sauce. The potato salad here had olives in it, which is unusual and kind of interesting.

Delishious French dip sandwich. Great service. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.
My new favorite spot when driving between Los Angeles and San Francisco. Great sandwiches and potato salad, wish I would have found it sooner.

Our order was for a medium steak and instead it was served rare.
The cut of meat was also very low-marbeled and extremely difficult to cut, let alone chew.
Aka, cheap meat.

This place is the real deal!!! Excellent service, delicious food, great atmosphere. I had the deep pit sandwich with fries and husband had the plow boy with onion rings, and we both had a salad. I had iced tea and husband had Dr. Pepper. Our food was cooked perfectly, especially the onion rings. Their home made bbq sauce is great - a little sweet and not too spicy. Fresh brewed tea was excellent. Salads had a very generous amount of dressing on the side. Our server was Pedro. He was very attentive without being bothersome. He didn't write the orders down, and got everything correct!! He brought the check when we were done, and I was able to scan it with my phone and pay with no problems. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes!!!
