I never leave negative reviews for restaurants, but the last two times have been an awful dining experience. The food is not the issue, it is the service. A wrong dish brought out which happens and was replaced, but the staff turned the AC on full blast 5 minutes after “closing” and it was extremely uncomfortable to even finish the food. I understand that restaurants close, but we had to wait for the correct dish and were pressed subtly to leave. We were asked to pay before we even started eating. What’s even worse is that we weren’t the last ones at the restaurant. It feels disrespectful to the customer and dining experience.

My wife and I went here for dinner we had Pad Thai we also had some vegetarian egg roll. The food was very good the chicken in our Pad Thai was a little bit dry otherwise it was excellent. The people were very nice it's a small place but comfortable. We will definitely go back.

This is an outstanding Thai restaurant! It ranks very highly among the best we've ever had! We're vegetarian and had no trouble finding suitable dishes.I had the vegetable green curry and it was wonderful! The flavors were balanced between slight sweetness, spiciness (i ordered spicy--one level below the highest: extra spicy) and curry flavor. I don't like sweet curries, and this was not too sweet, but just a hint. My dish included extra veggies, like Chinese eggplant, squash, bell peppers and carrots. You can get if with other proteins, too, such as chicken, beef or tofu.My wife had the tofu panang curry, which i tasted. It was a bit creamier than the green curry due to more coconut milk, but it had similar mild sweetness, good spice and balanced curry flavor. These are truly wonderful dishes! We also ordered basil vegetable rolls, which had fresh lettuce, basil, carrots and other fresh veggies wrapped in a moist rice paper roll. They were served with an excellent peanut sauce. They were so fresh and delightful! We ordered my son an appetizer of soy chicken nuggets, which were a bit tough, but he ate them with a vegetable roll. Their flavor was very good. He loves peanut butter, so that peanut sauce sealed the deal for him.You must try this place! I highly recommend it!

You wouldn't think much of this quaint little spot but the food here really packs a punch. I got the yellow chicken curry with white rice and it was incredible. The chicken was cooked well, and the curry came out steaming hot with such a great aroma of flavors. The creaminess of the curry complimented the rice well, and added a new depth of flavor with the vegetables. Not to mention that they gave me a lot of chicken and a lot of potatoes and carrots. The service was quick and exceptional. I ordered probably within 5 minutes of getting seated and my food came out quickly as well. Highly recommend this place for anyone in the area.

In America, a tip is earned by the waitress who gives good service to the the client and it's not part of the bill. It's a gratuity for good service. I did not get good service, I was lucky to get a fork. The young lady was more concerned about her being on her phone than to be attentive to her clients. I will not be back neither do I recommend it to anyone.

I've never had a bad meal here! Everything is so tasty and overall very affordable especially compared to other restaurants in the area. Clean inside too.

You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu here! Whether it's to dine in (very casual) or to go, Green Basil serves up authentic, tasty, and reasonably priced Thai food. The Thai yellow curry is one of my faves (comes with rice), and the Pad See Ew (meat or veggie) is super yummy! The spices they use, smell and taste just like I had in Thailand, and you can customize the strength of the curry, mild, medium, hot. I always go for medium and it's perfect on my taste buds! We love having you in our neighborhood Green Basil!
