The veggie plate was mid, overpriced and the falafel was very dry and crumbly. Only good thing was baba ghanoush. But the guy at the front lacked professionalism. Both my husband and I ordered a veggie platter and he only made one. Instead of apologizing for the delay and making another plate, he got into a silly back and forth with us making accusatory comments saying “oh you both ordered it so we just made one” wtf? Just be accountable and say sorry for the delay I missed that, and just make the second one. Also I asked for it to be spicy which was an extra 1$ and he forgot to include any spicy sauce in my bowl, clearly inattentive to any add ins/ customizations. Won’t be coming back again due to bad service

The workers let a guy come in with a big white lab that was apparently not a service dog. Against California food safety requirements. I mentioned it to manager and he said something to dog owner and owner lied about dog

My wife and I live in Tarzana, and even though we have plenty of decent Mediterranean spots nearby, we always go out of our way to eat at Mediterranean Pita Grill. The outdoor seating area offers beautiful views of the hills, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.

The food is consistently delicious and generous in portion. I usually go with the beef and chicken plate, and I’m always impressed with both the quantity and quality. The rice is cooked perfectly—not too soft, not too firm—and the meat is always tender, juicy, and full of flavor.

On top of that, the staff is generally polite and friendly. They’ve earned a forever customer in us.

Some of the sides are vegan. Falafels, French fries, and pita chips are all cooked in the same oil as the chicken strips.

The food was very tasty and fresh. The drinks buffet was very generous.
We found it problematic that the food was also served in plastic bowls in the restaurant.
It would have been nice if the owner had prepared tables for us outside - there were only tables for two. So we had to start moving tables ourselves.
