Horrible service here! No one cares about who they sit how they sit or how they treat customers.

Disappointing Experience at Shibuya in CalabasasDate of Visit: February 4, 2023, at 6:00 PMUnfortunately, my visit to Shibuya in Calabasas was far from satisfactory, leaving me with no choice but to leave before even trying the food. The organization at the entrance was chaotic, with the sign-in sheet seemingly ignored by the servers. Despite there being several small groups waiting, a table for four was seated ahead of us out of turn.To add to our frustration, we were informed that the individual who was prioritized over other patiently waiting guests was the owner. If this is indeed true, it reflects poorly on the establishment's regard for its customers. If this is a misunderstanding, I would urge the owner to address this issue promptly with the staff to prevent such a 'horrible experience' for future patrons. The first impression is crucial, and sadly, Shibuya failed to make a good one. A dining experience begins the moment you walk in, not just when you taste the food, and on this occasion, it was deeply disappointing.

Shibuya offers outstanding sushi. Freshest fish, nice presentations and friendly, professional service. I highly recommend the spicy tuna rice cakes, the crab rolls and stuffed squid. It is a small venue, so there may be a queue, but it’s absolutely worth the wait. I will definitely be back whenever I’m in the area.

Mediocre restaurant with mediocre food run by mediocre people. This is case in point about why you shouldn’t believe everything you see on the internet . Let’s run through our night… When we first arrived, 15 minutes before opening (at 4:45PM), we were greeted by an almost full wait list (even before the restaurant was open). None of those people were actually there and the parking lot was mostly empty. One other fun fact about that wait list, no matter where you are on the list others will still be ahead of you because if they missed their turn they are allowed to skip and take the next spot available. To be clear, we knew we were going to wait an hour or so based off of what other people had posted about online. This is not the case. Cut to 3 HOURS later, we have had our car hit by a Tesla and it is finally our turn to eat. I want to be clear, THIS FOOD IS TERRIBLE. How in the world they think it appropriate to charge what they do for half baked ideas like “truffle edamame” will be a question I ponder for the wrest of my life. In total. Avoid at all costs. I am counting the days until these owners have to close the doors for good. That will be truly one of the best days for the restaurant industry since the invention of sliced bread. ((((( After looking through their reviews you can obviously tell they are either bought or at minimum over inflated)))))

I have eaten here three times - food is good and reasonable. Honestly the place is a joke though we waited 3 hours in the cold and there were people ahead of us with no end in sight. Then people would walk in and somehow get seated. There is no logic to their seating and the owner was seating inside brought friends in. There is no food worth a 3 hour wait. Thats when we left. They have to change their system.

Be ready to wait for 2+ hours for 2 people even when you come exactly when they open. Horrible customer service. They completely disregard you. They clearly have people that do not wait in line, they take in people earlier who bribe them and those who are “known” do not wait whatsoever. You’re telling me after 2 hours of waiting I still can’t sit with 2 people at the bar? No. Because those “known” people came in and sat when we were supposed to. That is why they rubbed Adrian’s arm as a thank you for letting them sit without waiting at all. Ridiculous service. Not worth it whatsoever.

Hands down the best sushi I have ever had. My coworkers have been hyping this place for a while but I assumed they were exaggerating. I usually skip places where you have to wait for a while/arrive early as I get hangry and want to eat asap. It was worth the wait. The inside isn't exciting. It is very small and just looks like a regular sushi spot but the food... AMAZING! I wish I remembered the names of everything we ordered but I can say it doesn't matter what you get because it will be delicious.
