Great Starbucks location. The staff was upbeat and friendly. My drink and food was made well. The location was clean and there was plenty of parking.

I live in this area and come to the commons weekly on my day off to enjoy a nice meal and grab a coffee.

Today while I was waiting in line I witnessed the manager Amanda talk rudely to a male employee who was off to the side at the moment while I was waiting to be helped.

As well as be snappy with people she was helping in line.

All this to say I left without purchasing anything.

Whatever her reason maybe be. If Starbucks is going to continuously charge us more money for their services then at the very least we should enjoy being in their stores.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the unacceptable level of customer service I received at your The Commons Calabasas Starbucks.

I ordered a Honey Citrus Mint Tea and waited over 18 minutes with no update or communication. When I finally asked about my drink, I was told it was being prepared — only to find out it had been sitting half-finished off to the side the entire time. The barista simply completed it and handed it to me, with no explanation or urgency.

When I tasted the drink, it was completely wrong — it tasted like raw lemon juice, nothing close to what I ordered. When I brought it to the barista’s attention, I was casually asked, “What would you like to do?” At that point, I was already late for work, having wasted nearly 20 minutes waiting. There was no apology, no accountability, and no effort to make the situation right.

Frankly, I am shocked by how poorly this was handled. This is a location where I would expect outstanding service, but instead I received careless treatment, lack of professionalism, and no regard for my time or satisfaction. I paid for a drink I couldn't even enjoy, and walked away frustrated, disappointed, and late.

This kind of experience is absolutely unacceptable, and I am genuinely disheartened by how little care was shown to a paying customer. I hope serious steps are taken to address the poor customer service at this location — because based on this visit, it was completely below the standard Starbucks is supposed to represent.

Good morning, service is a little slow.
Need to wait for somebody to take order and waited also for the coffee. We finished eating our sandwich, still waiting for coffee. I understand a lot of customers at the time; 9:30 AM, maybe anticipate the rush of customer with the orders. The plan was for take out, turned out to be dine in.

Good on all fronts. We had a bit of a complicated order and they nailed it. Great service and the kind of consistency you expect from Starbucks. Location is tough to get in and out of bc of how busy the commons get.

I ordered a coffee here yesterday - what a fabulous experience! I have never been in a Starbucks with so much positive energy before. Staff were cheerful and friendly. I will definitely be back when I am next in town! Keep up the good work.

Hello my name is EVELYN LIU I’m here now at the STARBUCKS STORE # 5636 located 4776 COMMONS WAY , the BARISTAS here named as follows AVERY , BRANDON, KAYLA , # very nice and friendly , the service is very quick the bathroom very clean the store wel organized the food and drinks so good , I highly recommend this location to all my friends co worker and family 10 stars EXCELLENT 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

this was our favorite Starbucks spot. But this is the 5th time the matcha is terribly bitter! I know that bitter matcha with a fishy taste is cheap and low-quality matcha... please bring it back to how it was 🙏🏻🥲

I understand that you have to train new employees, but don't do it at the expense of customers!!!!! Firstly, the drink that the student made took 20 minutes to make, and secondly, the taste was completely different! The cream that was put on top was not whipped at all!!!! We don't take food and drinks for free, so we want to get what we come for!!!
