Best pastries and cakes you can buy, excellent customer service, very friendly staff. Yes they went through a name change, but still the same owners. If you pay attention to the sign on the counter, it explains the reason for the name change. Same great tasting goodie’s. I will continue to take my drive all the way from West Covina. Yes, that’s how delicious everything is . Highly recommend it.

It is no longer Viktor Benes It is now Mamalos and I didn’t realize that until after purchasing croissants last week here that it is no longer the one that I loved and always had great bakery products We took some bites of our croissants and all noticed they did not taste at all like the ones in the old bakery on Mulholland Hwy Terrible, stale and horrible texture and cost twice as much as the old Viktors Won’t be getting my bakery products there again.

Whenever there are good people that come through my life I always like to mention them and make sure they get credit where possible. I’ve been a longtime customer of this bakery. I have to say they do a wonderful job. This is the only place I come in Los Angeles for any family members special occasions. Today I came in to purchase two birthday cakes to be used as a celebration for daycare graduation. Nancy went above and beyond to meet all my expectations. She even went to the degree of helping me carry the cakes to my car as well as making sure my request were meant With courtesy and exceptional customer service. I certainly hope the management team sees this msg because they have a real winner and should take pride knowing they have a teammate like Nancy on their team.

I last minute ordered a birthday cake for a work friend of mine and Mark at the bakery was so helpful, communicating with the cake decorator so that I can get the beautiful cake I had in mind to make my dear friends special day a good one. The cake decorator did a fantastic job the cake was beautiful and delicious.
Jesus is a "Miracle Baker" He made my dads 90th birthdaycake in 3D - its was stunning.
