Whenever there are good people that come through my life I always like to mention them and make sure they get credit where possible. I’ve been a longtime customer of this bakery. I have to say they do a wonderful job. This is the only place I come in Los Angeles for any family members special occasions. Today I came in to purchase two birthday cakes to be used as a celebration for daycare graduation. Nancy went above and beyond to meet all my expectations. She even went to the degree of helping me carry the cakes to my car as well as making sure my request were meant With courtesy and exceptional customer service. I certainly hope the management team sees this msg because they have a real winner and should take pride knowing they have a teammate like Nancy on their team.

I last minute ordered a birthday cake for a work friend of mine and Mark at the bakery was so helpful, communicating with the cake decorator so that I can get the beautiful cake I had in mind to make my dear friends special day a good one. The cake decorator did a fantastic job the cake was beautiful and delicious.

Got the dulce de leche cheesecake (it is ok… tastes like cheesecake with a bit of caramel hint) and the hazelnut tart slice (also ok, a bit bland and dry somehow? But not bad)
TO THE OWNER: I PAID IN ADVANCE FOR 6 PLAIN DONUTS AND WHEN I GO NEXT DAY TO PICK UP THEY ONLY DELIVER 4 OF THEM AND FOR THE OTHER 2 THEY SAID THEY ARE SORRY.IF THEY CANT DELIVER THE SIMPLEST THING DONUTS WHAT THEY CAN REALLY DELIVER?ITS A JOKE AND THIS HAPPEN AT GELSON'S ON ENCINO. YOU MIGHT WHAT TO CHECK YOUR MANAGER AND PEOPLE WHO WORK AT THAT LOCATION FOR THE WAY THEY SERVE THE CUSTOMERS.I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE.
