Always great service. This is a local favorite. All the choices on the menu are fresh and good. From fish to steak - but the Mexican cuisine is the best! We take visiting family and friends and always get great reviews from them. Even asking to go to the next time they visit.

Even if you don't spend much time in California City, if you're in the surrounding area, you've surely heard of Gloria's - most likely those generous margarita pours, right?
The rumors are true. But that's not all that Gloria's has to be proud of. Most people will also tell you that you'll know everything you need to know about a Mexican Restaurant based on their Chips and Salsa. If THAT holds true, then Gloria's really isn't just about the drinks.
All 7 times in the past 3 months that I've been here, the Steak Fajita Burrito has, far and away, been my favorite dinner in the area. The meat is tender, the vegetables are cooked perfectly, it's seasoned just right, the Burrito is heated perfectly, and the temperature of the dish hits your taste buds just right.
The service is friendly and funny, cracking jokes at your expense if you have the skin to laugh at yourselves, and overall just a really inviting and friendly experience.
The atmosphere is pretty traditional, and what you might expect, but still very cozy.
Gloria's is easily a place to revisit time and time again.

California City's World Famous Gloria's Mexican Restaurant is our Christmas anniversary spot! We have had the opportunity to join the California City Amateur Radio Club for the Christmas Party here and we always have such FUN! Family owned and operated for a few generations now, you will not find better chips & Salsa as they make it on site FRESH!

California City is an odd sort of place, seemingly plonked in the middle of the desert. It feels a bit as if the writer of Withnail and I had written “We built a city by mistake”. Dining options are limited, but Gloria’s is a decent Mexican restaurant- friendly staff, quick service and tasty tacos.
Good Wet Burritos. Much in Mexican Foods are deliciously cooked, ordered at GLORIA MEXICAN FOODS RESTAURANT.

All the people here are Awesome. Great food excellent service, an outstanding Margheritas...
Wheelchair accessibility: No problem getting in or out or to the bathroom. Plenty of room to get around.
