A little hidden gem in the Stayer Bros parking lot. Friendly service, yummy food, and REAL brewed iced tea. We've been coming here for years, I don't know why I haven't written a review before. Do yourself a favor, and give Rosie's a try!
I came in today because it's close to the house and I've heard their food is good. I ordered a carne asada burrito and I was disappointed when I got home. The burrito was covered in grease, the grease smelled like lard or pork/carnitas fat. The first few bites were good but as I kept eating I got so many chewy fatty pieces of meat, I personally don't like the texture or flavor of chewy soft fat. I prefer meat. I did my usual “first time Mexican restaurant” maneuver and ordered a bean and cheese burrito. If they put love into that bean and cheese, the rest of their food is gonna be spectacular. And they did. Fantastic bean and cheese. I’ll update when I try the rest of the menu. Stay tuned.
