The Veal saltimbocca was the best of the dishes we ordered. The Melanzane Rollatini had no flavor. Could not taste eggplant at all. The Arancini Di Risotto were pretty good. Chicken Parmigiana was very dry and overcooked. The pasta was fresh and the sauce was good. Feel like there is a lot of room for improvement. Something just off about this restaurant

Quaint little Italian restaurant that has the best Osso Bucco, Foccacia, (Mama's) lasagna, and Tiramisu in the Bay Area! Outstanding service.

Went here for dinner on a Sunday evening. Cute restaurant small but very comfortable. Most tables seat 4 which is nice. My husband and I shared the special salad which was baby lettuce's and a light vinaigrette. My husband had lasagna and I had chicken Parmesan. The food was delicious came out quickly and was very authentic Italian. Pasta sauce is a cream and tomato base, not my preference, but it was good. Prices were average definitely not economical as they advertise, but we will definitely come back.

We were welcomed in and seated even though we were 30 minutes early. Marco introduced himself, explained the specials and gave us ample time to look over them menu. Good variety and something for everyone. Paintings and murals adorned the walls and the tables were cozy and roomy. Marco came back and discussed the wine menu, helping us narrow down our selection. The risotto balls appetizer was delicious and our selections of pork chop and pasta with spicy sausage were both delicious. Marco was friendly, warm, knowledgeable and professional. I would absolutely recommend eating here and we will certainly return.

Made reservations way in advance for a Saturday night. We very very excited to go- mostly based on previous reviews. We were seated promptly at a lousy table next to the "bar" where people wait for a table- many people crowding into our table space. We ordered the house made foccacia- $7 for 4 teeny pieces (3/4" by 3"). We also ordered the orecchiette pasta (which was recommended) and the lasagna. The orecchiette was a sad bowl of pasta swimming in a brown gravy with overcooked bits of broccoli rabe. We were expecting something that looked like California fresh ingredients- this was not it. The wine list was good- many bottles at various price ranges. The desserts were ok- tiramisu in a jar and a molten lava cake. Overall, very expensive for very mediocre food. and small servings. We left a little hungry and bummed out. Won't be back.

A very good neighborhood Italian restaurant with a crew that is very nice and helpful. For wine they didn't have the Bertani Amarone 2011, but they had a Speri which was nice and offered at a fair price. We had oysters rock which was lukewarm so I'd pass on that. Wife had lasagna which was excellent but not as listed with a Bechamel sauce. I had chicken parm and spaghetti. Finished off with Tiramisu. All good.

Dined here several times before and while other times it was good, last night was not. First, we they were clearly overbooked with reservations and as a result our 6:15 pm reservation turned into a 40 minute delay. We also waited another 45 to get our food. There was a large party celebrating a birthday and a lot of effort went into serving that group which also seemed to impact service. The arancini we ordered was flavorful but cold. One of us had the risotto with filet mignon and that was cooked perfectly and tasty. One of us had the lasagna and it was just average. I had the four cheese ravioli with sauce described as creamy bolognese. The sauce on both of these was very heavy and was just average. The gentleman tending the bar was also serving tables and it was clear he was hustling to provide better service which we appreciated. With other choices in town, most likely we will choose somewhere else next time.

Bricco is one of our gems in Calistoga ! I am on a Gluten Free diet and they always accommodate me with choices not on the menu. We chose to have Christmas dinner with them and as usual, the food was delicious and the Staff warm and welcoming! I would recommend reservations as people walking by tend to follow the aroma ! Happy Holidays Everyone!

December 25 was not the easiest night on record for the staff at Bricco. We had reservation at 7:15 PM, didn't get seated for nearly an hour--the place was understaffed and overwhelmed by eager diners and, I'm pretty sure, walk-ins (one of the few eateries open on Christmas Day in Calistoga). one we WERE seated, the food was superb (carpaccio and a risotto topped with roasted salmon) and the wait staff were kind and well organized, could not possibly have treated us better.

Absolutely wonderful. Wonderful food, intertwined staff attending to our every need pleasantly, with ease and grace, making us feel at home.

Service was gracious and food very flavorful, a little bit heavy-handed on the sauces and salt, but generally very very good. Overpriced unfortunately as most places in Calistoga are but still overall wonderful experience.

We had not been to the restaurant for a few months. After our wonderful experience last night, we questioned why it took so long for us to come back.

We were put in a table upstairs. The entire area including the upstairs bathroom was extremely dirty. There was a meatball under the table, a hair in my daughter's lemonade, and another hair in her pasta. It was also very expensive. The only good part of the meal was the server who was extremely friendly.
