Food was amazing, really fast only took about 2-3 mins, hooked us up and gave us all cookies on the house there was 7 of us definitely coming back

Tri-tip was extremely dry and just nothing but fat. The canned beans in a small container were just that. Canned beans. The packaged overly sweetened slaw could give someone diabetes even on the best day. There was NOTHING garlicky about their garlic bread. A soggy burned back piece plopped down on very dry meat and a spoonful of sauce. Husband ordered a pulled pork sandwich and even that was hard to swallow. The bread was so soggy it fell apart while eating it. Shame on me for not looking at reviews prior to ordering! NOT WORTH THE MONEY PAID!

Portions way down and prices up. $19 brisket sandwich with one small scoop of a side on a paper plate. They even started weighing meat before putting it in your sandwich. Hard to justify over $9 CalMart sandwiches down the street.

The drive from Windsor can kinda suck, but the food is worth the long winding road. The best BBQ in the county!

This is one of my favorite places to come eat barbecue when I'm in Calistoga. It is definitely a landmark here and has been open for 25 years. Buster is really personal and a pleasure to talk to as well as the staff. I have ordered the beef ribs and the pork ribs and they were a hit out of the park. Do yourself a favor and don't miss this place.

Busters was always the best BBQ tri tip in Sonoma and Napa County. They have over the years served less and less meat on their sandwiches. This will be my last visit for a while.

I understand this is a business, so raise your prices, dont cut my portion!

(And the hot isn't HOT anymore)

My friend recommended this place and to order the tri tip sandwich. It was delish and didnt get the hot sauce as I heard its too hot its a cozy casual and friendly place. Enjoy.

Left very disappointed. Smelled amazing so we had to stop. Brought home brisket and St. Louis ribs with garlic bread. Brisket was juicy but lacked any flavor. Ribs were tough also had little to no flavor. I will say, the mild sauce was delicious and found it made not meats taste far better. The garlic bread, on th recommendation of the staff, was noting more than French bread with butter and garlic salt.

Needless to say, we won’t go out of our way to eat here again. I would expect far more for the price.

This place used to be awesome. Each sandwich would come loaded with meat on a heavenly garlic bread. These days you are lucky to get enough meat to cover even half the sandwich. Good thing the bread is still good because my last four bites were all bread and no meat. Also, the spicy bbq is no joke. It really is spicy so order accordingly. I typically do a half and half to mellow out the spiciness, and I love spicy.

Very disappointed with our lunch today at this establishment. We have been wanting to go for years and finally tried it. Cost was exorbitant considering the amount of food, meats were dry and flavourless, garlic bread was appalling, might was well have been eating a shoe and no garlic flavor at all. The salads had no flavour whatsoever also, KFC would be better. Terrible experience. I think the old owners treated this place better but now I would never go there again.

My very first time in this place,

My husband and I ordered the 3 meat plate,

The beef ribs were ok, nothing outstanding

Brisket was ok, barely eat it

The pork ribs tasted and smelled fishy, I could even smelled them after coming back from the restroom, I don't know how you can make that possible but this was the less flavourful bbq I've ever had.

Sides were mid, barely touch them.

And 2 coke bottles were room temperature.

I don't think we are coming back to this place, but we didn't had any lucky sorry.

It has to be the most boring barbecue I've ever had. And the guys charging $4 for a bottle of water... Unbelievable. What does that tell you?
