We chanced upon the restaurant at Calistoga Inn one Sunday for lunch. The place is nice and they have ample outside seating. The service is prompt and attentive, the food is average. The $20 corkage fee is reasonable. I will try other restaurants in town first before I go back.

Lovely setting but alas we found mediocre food with harried, inattentive service. One dish was bland; another had to be sent back. Bummer as beer was good and creek setting idyllic.

This is a nice spot on Lincoln Ave. It's definitely on the higher end, but most of the restaurants in town are. The ambiance was pleasant - classy but comfortable. I really liked all the classic pictures of Calistoga that they had on the walls. The menu has a little bit of everything - seafood, pasta, steak, chicken. I had the chicken abruzzi. The sauce was very good. I was excited for the accompanying polenta, but the kitchen mistakenly thought polenta was not gluten free and gave me mashed potatoes instead. I didn't want to waste anything, so I just accepted the potatoes, but I was bummed. The waitstaff was apologetic and offered to give me a side, but I declined. My husband had the paella and loved it. Good amount of spice and lots of meat and seafood. The sausage was a little tough, but it didn't detract from the dish. We also shared the lemon pie with berry compote and it was tasty. Also, side note - the bread and butter they offer the table while you're waiting was dry and flavorless, according to my husband.

OK dropped into this sweet little hamlet called Calistoga to taste the juice. Got hungry so popped into the Calistoga Inn and glad I did. Had the rigatoni and couldn't have been happier. Jose was top notch all the way. Attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu. I had the spicy margy and it was delish. The ambiance was sweet and homey. If you're in north Napa Valley gotta try this place. Won't be disappointed.

We wanted to find a fine place for a glass of wine and snacks and it looked ideally. A nice spot to sit outside and enjoy the spring sun. The food was perfect, however due to busy hours, we needed to wait pretty long. Anyway, highly recommended to visit!

Food & drinks: Delicious food. Good taps and wine. But so many other great places with drinks just as good and $2 cheaper that I’m not sure I’ll return.Noteworthy details: Price gouge for their drinks. Boo! Tip option on pay machine starts at 23% Extra boo!! Patio area with Adirondack chairs is lovely but doesn’t really overcome the price gouge and arrogant tip grab.

Ambiance is really pretty on the patio next to the river. The food was mediocre. We had the sausage rigatoni. The sausage was good but the rest of the dish lacked everything. Service was not good. Parmesan wasn't offered for the dish and there was no salt and pepper on the table. The server never came back to check on us. I had to chase her down to ask for it. The scalloped potatoes were really bland and even I could make it myself at home.

I stop here every time I'm in the area for their seasonal gnocchi. It's amazing... EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Great drinks here as well and a wonderful evening ambiance.

Wonderful outdoor location sitting next to a creek. Service was good and the food was delicious. We split a green salad and pizza. They were nice enough to split the salad onto two plates which was a nice surprise when it arrived. The pizza was especially good since it was topped with lightly dressed arugula. We have come here several times and will return again!

Nice ambiance and no wait. Staff was sincere and friendly. My burger however was not. It was dry, overcooked, and tasteless. There wasn't enough cheese and the bread was stale. The french fries were good, but at $24+ for the meal, definitely not worth it. Nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to dine here daily.

Overall a good experience but compared to other restaurants it was less deliberate than our other experiences in Calistoga.I can't speak to the rooms as I only had dinner there. Short ribs, potatoes, and sauce were delicious, but I preferred more salt. The brocolini were oily and in need of more salt. The bread and butter were cold. I didn't try it but my wife said the fig and arugula pizza was too sweet. The coffee was excellent! I think I ruined it by adding cream though. Even if you like creqm and sugar. I recommend trying it black and then with a little sugar. The service was great, we had everything we needed.
