Wine tasting was limited to the tasting itself, left with minimal knowledge of wines.

This is not a personal experience, this is a sampling to decide if you want to purchase their wines.

Acquired a case from The Spire Collection, just to get called broke here. Will not be returning. Highly advise going to a different experience if you want a personal experience.

This is an example of a tourist trap. Don't get me wrong, wines are ok and the place is beautiful. But it is just not authentic and is kinda like a tour set up, similar when you go to Disney make a queue for a ride, there is a guide that shows you around the castle and at the end you have a tasting and when you finish you pass through a gift shop, just not harmonious and not my vibe. A cool place if you are an influencer who wants cool pics, not a place to come to relax and enjoy good wine.

Not good experience for our family. We arrived an hour and a half before closing time and we call to made sure to ask if there wasn't enough time to get a good look around before entering so we wouldn't waste time and really get a good look inside. We paid $60 per person, "which seems pretty high to me." After tasting the wines, we tried to leave the room to get a good look around, as I mentioned before, but they closed all the doors, so we couldn't get a good look around. They only left the exit doors open. It's a shame, but I don't think we'll be back. By the way, it's a beautiful castle.

This place is so overrated! If you know wines move on. The concept of a castle that is all! I have been here before the pandemic when you could go in and have a tour, buy wine, etc. but IT WAS NOT MANDATORY to do a purchase.

The wine is mediocre and really there are so many other places I would recommend that now with the new policy of mandatory purchase. Please do yourself a favor and skip it!

This place was AMAZING! While visiting Napa Valley did the whole wine tasting experience, and was not disappointed. This was some of the tastiest wine I've ever had. Especially the pinot noir. Our server for wine tasting was exceptional. Moreover, the grounds are spectacular. There is a full chapel and tasting room and castle that make you feel like you are really in Tuscany. The grounds have animals including goats and emus. The beauty of this place is breathtaking. I will be dreaming about it.

By far one of the best wine tasting/tours I’ve been to. The mood , ambience, the wine and our Host were amazing . The actual tour/tasting is well presented with entertaining descriptions that make it fun for anyone .

We traveled with our senior dog who is non aggressive and non barky. He was welcomed at Castello Di Amorosa . I had him in a backpack during the tour and that seemed to work just fine .

Definitely worth a visit! The castle is spectacular, the tour is fun, and the wine is of course tasty. Some of the best views in the valley.

This place is a must visit. The grounds are beautiful, and the wine list is plentiful. We opted for a charcuterie box and chocolates with our tasting. When we were first seated, we waited about 15 minutes before my husband got up and asked if someone was going to serve us. Apparently, the servers didn't know who was supposed to have our table, but we were given an extra tasting for their error. Overall, it was a fun experience.

This review is long overdue. During the first days of the year, we visited Castello for a wine and cheese tasting tour. The tour itself was enjoyable, and the castle is absolutely beautiful. However, there were a few disappointing aspects that I only realized afterward.

First, regarding my wine order experience. Since we had another tasting scheduled that same day, we didn’t place an order on-site. I later contacted our tour guide and placed the order over the phone 2–3 weeks later. The sales representative who helped me was very kind and knowledgeable, offering great storage tips and advice.

Unfortunately, things went downhill when it came to shipping. I did receive a tracking number, but honestly, who checks that every single day? Especially when spending over $5k on wine, a simple courtesy reminder about the delivery date would have gone a long way. I have dozens of packages delivered weekly, so I wasn’t actively monitoring it. Of course, this delivery required a signature, and no one was home at the time, so the package wasn’t dropped off.

When I reached out to the sales rep, I was surprised to hear they don’t have any system in place to notify customers before delivery. Really? For high-value orders like that? Especially when commission is involved? He reassured me that the wine was stored in a temperature-controlled facility and would be fine until redelivery the next day.

However, after following up directly with FedEx, I learned the truth. The wine had been sitting in a hot van all day, and the overnight storage wasn’t temperature-controlled either — this is Florida, after all. I was so disappointed, not just by the poor handling of the wine, but by the false reassurances I was given. For me, one lie is enough to lose trust.

As a result, I canceled the entire order (which took multiple calls to finalize) and also canceled my futures order. It became clear this place is more about business than preserving the original idea of great wine and good company.

To add to the experience, our tour guide was a few minutes late, the tastings felt rushed, and the overall atmosphere was loud and chaotic. It felt like money was the priority, not the experience — and eventually, that shows.

In the end, I bought my wine elsewhere, from a place with better quality and service. I honestly feel bad for whoever ends up with the returned boxes from my order because I have no doubt they’ll just resell them to someone else.

Castello di Amorosa was a great family friendly tasting experience. Our tasting guide, Francesco, was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable about the wines and tailored the tasting to each of our interests. We planned to just go to see the castle and animals for our son, and ended up spending over $600 on wine due to his excellent service. Can’t recommend Francesco and Castello di Amorosa enough for a tasting especially with kids
