This is an example of a tourist trap. Don't get me wrong, wines are ok and the place is beautiful. But it is just not authentic and is kinda like a tour set up, similar when you go to Disney make a queue for a ride, there is a guide that shows you around the castle and at the end you have a tasting and when you finish you pass through a gift shop, just not harmonious and not my vibe. This place was AMAZING! While visiting Napa Valley did the whole wine tasting experience, and was not disappointed. This was some of the tastiest wine I've ever had. Especially the pinot noir. Our server for wine tasting was exceptional. Moreover, the grounds are spectacular. There is a full chapel and tasting room and castle that make you feel like you are really in Tuscany. By far one of the best wine tasting/tours I’ve been to. The mood , ambience, the wine and our Host were amazing . The actual tour/tasting is well presented with entertaining descriptions that make it fun for anyone .
We traveled with our senior dog who is non aggressive and non barky. He was welcomed at Castello Di Amorosa . I had him in a backpack during the tour and that seemed to work just fine .
