Unique vibe with tasty entrees. There was a strange smell, but it was more related to outside elements than to the restaurant. The service was top-notch.

The Duck Leg Confit Cassoulet is divine (new addition) and the Pasta Bolognese is always a great choice! We are locals here in Calistoga and this is one of our favorite spots! And their cocktail menu is fun and delicious! The outside patio has a great atmosphere no matter the weather, highly recommended!

Seated outside in a tent for some unknown reason. (COVID is over) food pricey and average. Wine list completely unworkable.
Fabulous gumbo, Parker house rolls and burger. We ate on the patio and it was warm in January.
Great food, drinks and ambiance! Highly recommend.

Everything was amazing- from the food, to the service, to the ambiance. We're locals and always find ourselves coming back!
This place is fine for what it is. The food was decent but not exceptional. I had the evangeline steak which I ordered medium rare but it was a little more well done than I expected.
Service was very good and attentive. The seating outside was fine. We had a slightly larger party, and we had a reservation but they did not try to get us on the same table which is kind of odd considering the restaurant wasn't full.

Really felt like I was in a French restaurant in the French Quarters of New Orleans. We had our little French bull dog and there is plenty of room between tables to provide privacy and room for our fur baby on the heated patio, which we sat in the covered portion. Great food and service!
Visiting from Chicago, we stumbled upon Evangeline and had a wonderful experience. We split a seasonal pear salad and a seared tuna with green papaya and mango with rice noodles accompanied by a lovely French Chenin blanc with a pot de crème caramel to finish things off. The setting was superb, the vibe was sublime, and we left with smiles on our faces and joy in our hearts.

Came here with three others. My pork tenderloin dish was excellent. Friends got the étouffée, bouillabaisse, sesame crusted ahi, autumn pear salad (very good) and they were all pleased, but I seemed to enjoy my pork the most. We split one choc lava cake for dessert. Service was friendly, slow waiting for the dessert, but otherwise timely. A solid place to dine; I’ll be back again for another go at the pork tenderloin…

Definitely wouldn't recommend it. It is over priced for mediocre food & service.
The Rissoto was a cheesy rice sludge that I couldn't even eat.
The Etouffee was some scampi, didn't resemble etouffee at all.
Our Sangria cocktails were tasteless & the 2 of us who ordered that had to send them back.
In that price range, we expected service, not just food delivery to our table.
It worked out to be about $60 (all inclusive) for a drink & a main! This would have been a normal price if the food & service had been good.

Bouillabaisse was exquisite. Generous with huge crab leg, tasty shrimp, and much more broth seemed to also have some cream. I'd give it five stars. Bread pudding was disappointing. I'd asked the server what he thought of it, and he said it was very good, very moist. So we ordered it. Not moist, however; more like a coffee cake. Only the accompanying vanilla ice cream made mouthfuls of the bread pudding moist enough to eat. Service was nice throughout. A nearby table of five was very loud; I figure room acoustics didn't help.
Excellently prepared food, beautiful presentation, and service by Raul was impeccable! Put this on your list of not to be missed restaurants in the Napa valley.
Food was good but unremarkable. Solid place but it seemed like it could be so more. The atmosphere and outdoor location are great.
