I normally don’t write reviews, but after visiting this place I felt compelled to write one…
Worst service ever, if I were the owner of this place, I’d fire the waitress working at the bar on the spot without thinking twice (the one with dark hair collected in a bun). She was literally looking at us waiting at the bar for 15 minutes before finally taking our order, and the place was half empty, so it’s not that she was swamped with work. Then they didn’t have any cold juices in the fridge for our 5yo… I was “fine, we’ll just take water from the water dispenser”, just to find that one was fully empty too (she refilled it 5 minutes later). On top of that she was visibly having “an attitude”, almost annoyed why we were even showing up there. I first thought it was only us for some reason, but then I saw her giving the same treatment to other customers, and then she almost smashed the telephone when someone called couple of times and she couldn’t hear anything due to bad reception.
Food took some 40 minutes to arrive (it was literally just fries, pretzel and pork belly bites), so total time from coming there to getting food was some 55 minutes. Again, it was waiting on the kitchen counter for good 5 minutes before the waitress finally noticed it’s ready to be served. Then she literally threw the food on our table. We never got plates, so had to eat directly from plates the food was served on.
Food itself was the only bright point of our visit. At least the person working in the kitchen knows what they’re doing. Pretzel and pork belly burnt ends were good.

The food is very good from the burgers to the BBQ. The staff is fast friendly and courteous, they even remembered the names of my crew and I the next day. Trivia night, bingo night, fun place with good vibes.
Highly recommend.

My order came after a long time and had been sitting in the food window for a bit and I was asked if everything was ok and I said no my husbands order wasn’t there. Come to find out they forgot to do his order and by the time his came my food was cold plus his was the wrong order! No one said a word to us until we were leaving. I didn’t eat my cold food.. owner said he’d make it up next time…… what does that mean? big assumption!

Little hard to find behind ice cream parlor down an alley. Nice setting open air bar. Seating inside and out. Parking is a challenge. Staff friendly and worked hard. Bartender working by herself on front end. It was hard for her to manage our group and needs of everyone else but she was a super star and did well.
Food was average at best. I ordered fish and chips as you can see by pic wasn't many chips. Fish was cold in middle and tough. Wife had a Ruben sandwich. Meat was tough also. The highlight was one of the brothers had Mac n cheese with brisket. He said it was excellent. Without the Mac, food would have been 2 stars.

Staff is always wonderful and cheery. Food is quick and excellent every time, a must try in Calistoga
Way over rated, the food is really sub par. Supposedly the best BBQ around, not even close. Bbq chicken pizza appeared out of a box, brisket tacos 1/2 fat, brisket sandwich tough. Self order, they serve it and never come back to even ask how the food is.
Atmosphere isn’t good enough to make up for the bad meal.
I called in an order and the lady I talked to was very nice, they slid our order in as the last one of the night (though according to their hours they were still open for an hour). Food was decent for a late night snack, but nothing spectacular (though two items were technically from the kids' menu). The two sauces that we ordered with the chicken strips were not in the box, after I specifically asked if they were and was told yes. Next time, I'll definitely check. The fries were really good, had a good crisp and good flavor, but again would have been better with something to dip them in.
When we got there to pick up, there were specials that sounded a lot better than what we ordered, so I'm tempted to go back for lunch if those specials are still around. (Pretzels with beer cheese and Mac N Cheese with brisket)
*FYI, the pictures do NOT show the full portions, we already started eating when I thought to take them
The atmosphere is wonderful and the food is delicious. We had the pulled pork mac & cheese and pork belly bites. Both great.
Great entertainment. Fried ? pickles are yummy as are the chicken wings. A lot of foods are fried but tasty with brews. Cheers!

The only bar we ever want to go to in Calistoga! Went for trivia night and had the best time. Beer and wine selection was great, the server and owner were friendly, and the locals were super fun. Thanks for a great night!
Damn, I just had a tri-tip sandwich. Rob, ya knocked that right out of the park.
Omg great beer and amazing deep fried pickles
