My wife and I visited Newton Napa Valley February 18, 2023. It was a private tasting hosted by a very knowledgeable, respectful and kind young man named Edgar Macias. Our entire experience, from greeting to our wine tasting with a splendid charcuterie, to our departure, was magnificent. My wife enjoyed the 2016 Mt. Veeder Cab and my favorite was the 2016 Spring Mountain Cab. We have been to Napa before but this experience at Newton was the best by far, for both of us. We learned so much from Edgar about the grape growing process, the vineyards and the climate for this batch of wine year 2016. I wanted to thank Mr. Macias for help making this tasting a memorable one. His hospitality is superior and we wish him the best! Newton makes a superb Chardonnay as well. If you are reading this review, I strongly recommend this vineyard/winery.

We had a such fabulous time at newton Calistoga last Saturday ! What a fun elegant outdoor event! The dinner is so delicious pairing with amazing wine collection . Newton is my favorite! Thank you Mario , Edgar and all the staffs for your kind hospitality and a memorable evening ! ????

I visited Newton Vineyard in June during COVID. My tour was private and I had a blast walking in the garden, taking pictures and listening to the history of the winery. I’ve only tried 2 wines as I had a long drive ahead, but enjoyed it very much. Thank you!

Maria, Maria, Maria. I can’t begin to explain how amazing this women, now friend was during our tour of the vineyard. A well traveled Sommelier who educates you on every aspect of wine within the region and beyond. It’s my second time to Napa in 3 years, 6th vineyard and I can honestly say it’s been leaps and bounded compared to the others due to the personal touch she puts on her tours. Thank you Maria for the exceptional afternoon which we’ll never forget.

You need an appointment!! Beautiful grounds, but confusing to know this is a tour only from their site - not licensed for tastings only. Definitely worth the visit, but make sure you book before trekking up the winding road.
