We grabbed lunch to go here. The birria tacos and Al pastor tacos were absolutely delicious! We will definitely go back again!

Unbelievably small portions. $20 for 2 little tacos with meat and cheese, nothing else. Came hungry and left this place still hungry. Disappointed
Nice resort style restaurant and bar. Food was excellent and service was great. I would recommend!

Get the avocado tacos! They are out of this world delicious (but definitely on the spicy side)
For all the presentation and the fancy atmosphere, the food was subpar. We ordered a salad that listed mint as a main ingredient. When it arrived it had ZERO mint and somehow included cilantro which was not listed as an ingredient. The rest of the greens were mostly cabbage. Just awful. Our server was also slightly rude when we asked for a drink they didn't have available (pina colada). Not a great value or experience for the money.

Made a reservation here for lunch while visiting Calistoga. We didn’t stay at this property but it was great to check out! Located at the Solage resort by the pool, you can’t sit by the pool (only for resort guests). We started with a round of tequila shots and ordered some drinks, I think I got the green flash. We got items to share for a party of 5. Elote, hearts of romaine salad, ceviches, squid/calamari. So fresh and so good. We did a. Variety of tacos— quesabirria, crispy avocado, and fish tacos. We devoured our meal it was so fresh and delicious! For dessert we got the churros and chocolate, flan, tres leches French toast, and Mangonada. Really good, service was good. Our server was super kind and friendly. It’s also such a relaxing and beautiful area while enjoying lunch by the pool on a nice and hot day. There’s hotel parking and not too far from the Calistoga festivities.

We had an amazing experience at Picobar during our stay at Solage. The food and drinks were great, but the service was exceptional. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home and were especially accommodating of our children. In particular, Manny and Chenowa were fantastic hosts and I had to recognize them for going above and beyond.

Great place for afternoon drink and taco, downside: drinks served in plastic, (because poolside). Add the chips and salsa, wont disappoint. We prefer the standard Margarita, rather than the special one.

A group of friends and I were at a winery a few minutes down the road and saw Picobar on the map. We decided to give it a try for a late lunch.
We pulled up and found that it was part of a very nice hotel/resort. Parking was just fine.
It was 3pm and we were seated right away with no reservation.
Prices were inflated, since it was attached to the hotel. Our server was friendly and the food came out quickly. We split the chips and salsa, and three of us had the quesabirria tacos and one of us had the Al pastor. There were 2 tacos per order.
The chips and salsa came with three different types- the green salsa was my favorite. So refreshing. We asked for extra chips and there was no charge.
The tacos came out quickly and they were hot!! Definitely fresh. The quesabirria tacos were crunchy and the meat/cheese ratio was perfect. The consommé was pretty good too. I had a bite of the al pastor and they were also so good, the pineapple was very fresh as well. No notes!
With the food being so good, we ordered churros to split for dessert. They also came out fresh and the chocolate sauce was balanced - not too rich. Definitely get if you like churros.
Overall, the price is what you’d expect for a hotel restaurant. We skipped on drinks for that reason- but the food was good quality and the restaurant had a nice ambiance. Would recommend if you’re in the area.
Our wait staff was absolutely INCREDIBLE! Their food and beverage recommendations were absolutely AMAZING & incredibly satisfying! The whole ambiance, especially sitting at the bar, was a whole vibe and definitely added to our overall experience! We will DEFINITELY be back again!👌🏾👌🏾👏🏾
