In our weekend in Calistoga, the Vault was the only place we went to more than once. They've got a great list of wines, helpful and friendly staff (shoutout Lacey and Carlos), it's open later than most spots, and you don't need a reservation. We had a lovely time, enjoyed great wine, browsed the artifacts, and had a great time. Lacey and Carlos were very knowledgeable and kind, they made the Vault a highlight of our weekend.

So glad we stopped by Vault. Mario was a splendid, entertaining, and generous host. We very much enjoyed his homemade rosé and left with a bottle in hand. We stumbled upon it when waiting for our car to charge and thought it was going to be a regular wine store, we were tempted in by the staff who welcomed us.We ended up having such a good time that we stayed 3.5 hours! It's such a treat here to try so many great wines right next to each other. We actually decided to become members since they also have great prices on bottles. Be sure to try the Sarah Francis wine if you can budget it! This is the only tasting room for her wine.Vanessa will take great care of you here!
