Had a lovely time with my husband on our first night in Calistoga ; Carlos talked us through a variety of wines, and we had a generally interesting conversation. The atmosphere is cool, a little bit steampunk. The other end of the Main Street, but worth a walk ( and also very close to Busters BBQ 😋)
Saturday, our group of 8 decided to check out The Vault Winery & get us some wine tastings. We were greeted by Vanessa & she was beyond amazing. We visited multiple wineries this trip & we came to the conclusion that The Vault Winery was the best! Vanessa provided such a sensual experience that easily convinced us to buy wine bottles to take home. Vanessa was very kind, informative & did it mostly by herself. Thank you Vault Winery! You all are truly a Gem. Back...
Mario was a wonderful host and we loved our tasting! The wine was excellent and the atmosphere was very cozy. They were open later than other wineries in the area and we didn’t need a reservation. We also loved learning about the history of wine making. I will be back next time I’m in Napa!
