Wonderful. Lovely. Great food and superb service. Reservations are a good idea.
Today my granddaughters and I went to the “All things tea” and we had there wonderful making our way through the 5 pots of tea and a single tower they offer. I normally look forward to the cucumber sandwiches but today I had a curry sandwich that was amazing. The staff was wonderfully and we look forward to returning when my girls get home from college on their next break.
Dietary restrictions: We have one in our party who must eat gluten free and a vegetarian and they had plenty of option. So no one felt left out.
Parking: Parking was not an issue.
Kid-friendliness: There was a very young girl, maybe 5-6 years old. The staff treated her so well, explained to her everything they were doing and made sure her tea was not scalding hot. Her tea was served is a smaller tea cup but very beautiful. I was a little jealous. Great place to start educating children on tea traditions.

One of the hardest things about moving away from Camarillo is leaving this place behind. Whenever we are in Camarillo we stop in to restock on my Darjeeling Autumnal (my personal favorite). They feature an array of all things related to tea brewing and the owner is fully capable of answering questions you never even thought you had about her teas…first harvest second harvest, brew times. If coffee isn’t your thing you really need to stop in here for a nice cuppa

So the food was amazing however the presentation suffered. It wasn't an experience it was a here is everything on your plate tier from sandwiches and desserts all at one time. I also would have liked regular checks on our tea levels in our cups and a personal experience with a designated server vs. 2 people working in the entire restaurant. They said they were flexible with head count but never confirmed with us that our 3 empty seats meant only 8 people attending and charged us for 7
8. We tipped 25% with hopes they would realize they fell short but they were barely willing to give each of us a to go box for those of us in attendance. We felt like an imposition vs. a customer.

I came with my family for English tea service. We had the Windsor afternoon tea and the experience was exceptional. Our host was friendly and accommodating, and we enjoyed everything we tried.Be sure to call a day ahead for tea service.

This place had potential to be 5 out of 5 but they're attitude made it 1 star. They really have to work on their customer service. I had checked the website before hand to check for hours of operation, menu etc. Also I had called the day before, no where did I see that reservations were required nor was I notified on the phone! My niece and I went and we were met with just rudeness, all we did was asked for a table for 2, then berated as if we should have known that it was reservations only! Highly recommended does not mean required. All we wanted was a nice tea day locally. It ruined our experience and will not be coming back or recommending it at all. All that was needed was, “we’re sorry we only take reservations” but instead we were received with a damn horrible attitude! Ugh!

Honestly, great tea. But it's never open. 4 hours a day, 5 days a week? What a waste. Would love some more tea, in the area quite often, but it's never open. Almost seems like a shuttered business, has a negative vibe, likely old money keeping it afloat. Meh. (Also the food in all the pictures is misleading, they only have tea at the ready, not fare for an impromptu tea party.)

I had such a wonderful High Tea here today! The owner was so sweet and knowledgeable, she even stayed around for a bit chatting with my friend and I. I highly recommend this place, it was a great experience!

The lady at the counter was extremely rude. My daughter and I were treated as if we were imposing on her. If it were not for the chef whom came and greeted us kindly. We would have left. I will never go or recommend this place.

The food and the tea were fine enough and the waiter was very nice BUT, was informed upon paying there was an additional charge for using a credit card. I've never heard this in a food establishment. I was informed I could pay cash or write a check. A check? What is this, 1999??? My apologies to the friendly waiter but I deducted the service charge from her tip. This is some bad business practice.
Fabulous Tea House! A definite must if you enjoy High Tea service.

We walked in and were told it was reservations only, which we did not have. (online it states they are strongly recommended. Nowhere does is state they are required). They did give us a seat outside. Our server whom I unfortunately forgot the name of, is wonderful, she made us feel welcome after initially getting the vibe that we weren't. We opted to do the afternoon tea for 2. It was absolutely delightful. I've read a couple reviews saying service is slow. I will say, yes it is slower than your average restaurant, but it's not a fast food establishment or a typical eatery. Enjoying a tea service like they offer should be an experience, taken slowly and enjoyed with good conversation with whomever you have with you. For me that was my pre-teen son who really enjoyed everything as well, and suggested we go back again soon.
