The pizza crust and sauce is so sweet, like noticeably sugary. If you are looking for something that tastes fresh and zippy this is not your pizza, but kids will probably like it. I didn't mind the pizza, but it's not Topper's (but also doesnt charge what Topper's charges!) I wish the new place all the best and will try the pizza again in the future, maybe I caught it on an off day.

DoorDashed the lasagna a huge portion for only $15 absolutely delicious and hot , they doubled the portion for the price I get at a competitor I’ll be ordering from here going

I decided to try this place now that it's under independent ownership. For better or worse, and contrary to the owner's response to my previous review, nothing has changed; no recipes were "perfected". The crust is decent American style dough. However, the staff has no idea how to top a pizza. The center of the pie was a soupy mess. There was no way to pick up a slice without having half of it stay in the box. They should purposely put less toppings in the center of the pizza because everything migrates to the middle during the bake. A little less cheese and fewer larger slices would also help to alleviate this issue. The sauce is the same. It has either paste, or a bunch of sugar, something isn't right. There's no bright tomato flavor. A #10 can of Stanislaus Tomato Magic or Alta Cucina, 15-20 grams of salt and a basil leaf would be infinitely better. I wish them the best, but they need to step it up a bit.

Nice hole in the wall pizza place. Was really happy to see pastrami pizza on the menu. Haven't been able to get that since we moved from OC. Jalapeno poppers were pretty good too. Will be back to try them again.

We were excited to try a new place. Ordered online and set-up online thing. Said not available multiple times when trying to log on. Ended up ordering from someplace else. Low and behold, shortly after finishing dinner, the order we never got any sort of confirmation from showed up at our door.Pizza was eh. Ordered the white Knight, sausage we added was overcooked and dry, couldn't taste basil, tasted no garlic. ordered a sandwich along with it, but being full from the prior dinner, haven't tried it yet.In short, online ordering is sub par at best and food (what there was room to taste) is eh.Only reason for 3 stars is they actually, though all be it unannounced, showed up on time, that having been said, the pizza was also cold, didn't check the sandwich, it just went in the fridge.From other reviews and what we tasted, seems like Ameci's with a new name. Bummer.Update to review. Tried the sandwich that was ordered. Not only was the bread burnt, there was no flavor (other than burnt bread).Also, somewhat sad that the only thing addressed in the reply was that the food was cold when there are plenty of issues more. To answer that question, yes it was ordered directly from the American pie Co. website that never confirmed the order was accepted.
