It was a nice surprise in our trip. All the food that we ordered were very good! The portions are big enough for family-style sharing. The Pork Pares was a hit and you can tell they used good quality meat and lots of distinctive spices. Sinigang was to die for. The Batchoy is also flavorful and it could easily be a go-to dish on cold days, college hang out, or late nights. I hope they bring this restaurant in Northridge, CA area it will be a great hit. A friend recommended this place, and I thoroughly enjoyed the food. The garlic rice wasn't as a bit dry and had less of a garlic than I was expecting, but it was still delicious. I definitely will be returning.
I had mixed experience when I visited Bachoyan Ilonggo Restaurant. The ambiance was cool and cozy, they offered a decent variety of Ilonggo dishes, with batchoy being the highlight.
