I went here because someone recommended it compared to my favorite place. My comparison venue is Johnnie's Mexican food on Ventura Avenue in Ventura.
I found the chili verde burrito to be much less tasty than the Johnnie's equivalent. The Johnnie's salsa is the complement that completes their burrito. The Bobbi's chilled red salsas -I got medium - added more spice than flavor. Bobbie's offers mild, medium and hot red salsas but they prepared ahead of time from blendered ingredients and then refrigerated rather than Johnnie's salsas that are served at the time of ordering. The Bobbie's burrito seemed to have more rice than beans instead of the relatively even proportions at Johnnie's.
