The food is amazing when there is someone there to make the food, but there have been plenty of times that I have stopped by only to be told that I can only order coffee, but not food, because the chef had stepped out with no way to contact them or know when they would return. I submitted an online order a couple days ago because online the shop was listed as open. I arrived to the shop and found they had a neon "open" sign but the shop was closed, door locked, and no one inside. I called many times that day, and many times in the days since to ask them to refund that order and they have not once picked up the phone or refunded the order I never got to receive. I have no choice but to dispute the order with my cardholder. Unfortunately, though the food is delicious and the coffee delightful, I can no longer recommend this shop because of the lack of service, lack of adherence to their own posted hours of operation, and the lack of contact.

I just need to create this review due to one major issue with Common Perk. It’s has great service, coffee, and the pricing is right at point BUT!!! It’s never open when I need it to be. It’s has the OPEN sign light on but it’s close (picture attached). Avoid the time between 11-2 PM thats when you might get lucky to have the door unlock. I haven’t tried early morning it could be a different story but during lunch time cross your fingers!

I absolutely adore this Filipino style coffee shop!! I come here very often, trying new items from the menu each time. I especially recommend the chicken adobo, and the house favorite Filipino donut is super yummy(everything is freshly made as well) I am always pleased with the service. Even when the shop is busy I never have to wait long to get my order. Just a tip, I recommend ordering in store rather than ordering online because the online menu is being updated. Super friendly and welcoming staff too, great way to start off the day with a good conversation :) It’s not very often you find such a unique place around this area, definitely adds more liveliness(+deliciousness)Always great to try something new.I hope this helps another coffee lover out there!!

I want to love this place. I keep going back in hopes it will change my mind with their coffee as I would much rather support local.Their food I have tried has been great! No issues there.But I’ve never had a coffee that I have enjoyed. It’s all pretty bitter. I went back recently and it seemed like they added a bunch more drinks, there were no descriptions so it was hard to choose.I picked a Vietnamese iced coffee because not every shop has them and I usually love them. For $7 it was just an iced coffee with a little condensed milk at the bottom. It definitely just tasted like a water downed ice coffee.It’s almost like they are doing too much when they should just be focusing on doing a few things but doing them well.The staff has always been friendly. But I have been a few times when it was closed before closing time. So definitely don’t try to go closer to then.Overall if you’re in the neighborhood and want to grab a quick bite, check it out. But if you’re looking for your coffee fix seek somewhere else.Wheelchair accessibility: There’s a ramp to make it accessible

The hours of this coffee shop are unreliable. Twice I’ve come to grab a coffee before posted closed hours and the doors are locked.
Place is tucked away in a housing community where you would expect shops to be in! First time visiting us - We were greeted by Ragsdale the owner and he was very nice - took time to go over the menu and suggest some recommendations. Even after we got everything, he made sure to check everything was good. This place is amazing though from their food to their drinks you can't go wrong with anything.I had their pork belly pan de sol and it was delicious - pork belly was nice and tender and the entire thing had so much flavor it made me want more. Their drinks are great. The ube kenobi is amazing. It almost reminds me of chocolate milk but with ube flavor. If you get the chance definitely check this place out.

Easily one of my new favorite spots. Coffee and food is extremely good with a fusion I haven't seen for a coffee joint. Inside is probably the coolest setups I've been in and the customer service was the best. Vibes were of the highest level. Will be coming back.
