Rachel (our point person) and the whole team were a pleasure to work with, provided exceptional, attentive service on the day, and prepared a lovely reception dinner for us and our guests. Rachel (our point person) did an amazing job walking us through our rental and culinary options. Did I mention that the dinner was delicious too?? Catering is obviously one of the larger line items for planning a wedding, and DJs provided complete transparency and reasonable prices on all their offerings. We also appreciated their flexibility in accommodating our requests for items like a raw bar at our reception that were not part of their standard menu. We would highly recommend DJs California Catering to keep your guests happy and fed at your next event!

DJ's Catering was absolutely delicious and we highly recommend them. DJ's was the catering company that came with our wedding venue, Casi Cielo Vineyards. They have so many options for a variety of budgets from buffet service with even more options for that all the way to a full plated meal service. We opted for a plated service with duet entrees and a late night snack. We had the Filet Mignon and Tuscan Chicken breast with Roasted Vegetables and the smashed potatoes, we also had a vegetarian option that was a Penne pasta. The food was phenomenal. So many guests came up to us the day of and complimented how they had two entrees and how everything was delicious. We also had the late night snack option, which was pizza because our venue had a pizza oven, and our guests thought that was one of the smartest thing they have ever seen. Again the pizza was bomb! The bar was also a hit. Everyone said the drinks were delicious and the bartenders were super friendly and helped make the night a success. We highly recommend DJ's catering whether it be for a wedding or anything else, delicious and very memorable!

DJs is an excellent choice for wedding catering. We worked with Doug and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The food prepared by DJs was absolutely delicious - a lot of our guests told us that it was the best wedding food they ever had (and we totally agree!). All the food was incredible, but we especially loved the tri-tip and churros/cookies for dessert. From the tasting to the wedding day, the entire DJs staff was very friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, I had to use this company because they were partnered with my wedding venue. Despite already paying over $12,000 for 100 guests to eat and drink, their service was incredibly disappointing. We provided our own alcohol, and it still cost us a substantial amount. The staff's unprofessional behavior was unacceptable.
For example, when I requested tequila on the rocks, I was unreasonably criticized. Called “anal” by the bartender. Given the significant amount we paid, I expected to be treated with the utmost respect, but instead, my husband and I felt poorly treated. The staff displayed a lack of courtesy, and even though a tip was included in the total cost, they continued to solicit additional money from our guests.
Moreover, my sister, who is over 21, was denied service because she did not have her ID, which was absurd since the alcohol was provided by us. Additionally, during the setup, the bartenders refused to serve my maid of honor and me a seltzer before the ceremony because I was so nervous, insisting we wait until cocktail hour. They also denied my grandfather a beer at the start of the cocktail hour because they weren’t “ready”. It was one beer.
The staff's unprofessionalism extended to making inappropriate comments about me and the groom in front of guests. Although the owner later offered a nice dinner as compensation, it was not sufficient to remedy the overall poor experience.
In hindsight, I regret choosing this company. The high cost did not reflect the service provided, and I would advise others to consider different options for their wedding.

We hired DJ's to cater and provide rentals for a St. Patrick's Day celebration of life. They already had a corned beef menu available and were very accommodating when I requested to provide our own breads and additional desserts. Lauren was very helpful in getting us set up with a quote and was very responsive with sorting out all of the details.The crew that worked the event- Alex, Yessi, Jerry, and Douglas, were all extremely professional, friendly, and kind. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the rotisserie roasted chicken (and I am VERY picky about chicken!), and many people asked the employees for a card to inquire about catering their own events.They were also punctual and very efficient, making what was a difficult day for me as painless as possible. Thank you again, especially to Yessi, who went above and beyond.

My wife and I chose DJ’s Catering for our wedding and we are so glad we did. We did a tasting with them and were impressed by the quality of the food—we didn’t want anything crazy, but rather just really high quality, and they delivered. Per our request, DJ’s added allergen information cards so our guests with food allergies were able to clearly see what they should and should not eat, and that was a really nice thing for us to have peace of mind for our guests. They also did a welcome beverage bar, a coffee/tea bar, and added Root Beer to our drink menu after we requested it (it’s my wife’s favorite). We got a ton of compliments on the food, especially the ice cream and churro dessert that DJ’s did. I don’t think there were any leftovers! They were very easy to work with and we loved that they have rentals available. We were even able to add last minute umbrellas when the forecast called for rain the week of our wedding.

I am so happy to have found DJ’s Catering and had them provide food, bartending, and rentals at our wedding! They made the process so easy and seamless and it was very convenient to have the same vendor provide so many services. I had to adjust our order multiple times and Doug was very helpful and accommodating (and quick to answer emails too)! The taco buffet food surpassed my expectations and many guests let me know how delicious the food was afterwards. Doug and his team were very accommodating to our gluten-free and vegetarian guests and made special notes of where they were seated at our dinner tables. His team did a great job with load-in and clean-up. I would highly recommend for any future bride-to-be!

Our experience with DJ's catering was WONDERFUL from beginning to end. At the start, Makenna helped me plan for the correct style and number of rental pieces. She then helped me create a perfect BBQ menu for my husband's 60th backyard bash. She was easy to work with and patient with all my questions. Makenna then gently passed me off to the event team who made sure everything went smooth as silk the evening of our party. John, the bartender, assisted me with drink ideas prior to the party. The night of the party he demonstrated, great professionalism and hospitality while handling a busy bar with ease and efficiency. Randi, the team leader, madesure the flow of the evening was spot on, overseeing every part and making it look easy. Lalo grilled the meat perfectly and graciously served guests. Kara was a working bee with a great smile, filling in wherever she was needed. This fantastic team allowed me to relax and really be present so I could really enjoy the celebration.. Oh, and the food...It was OUTSTANDING. Our guests commented how much they enjoyed the food. Even with 85 guests, we still had delicious leftovers to share. Finally, the gentlemen who dropped off and picked up the rentals were on time and efficient.Thank you Team DJ's.I would highly recommend DJ's catering for any catering needs.
