The food was over priced for food that was not good at all. Carne asada fries were the worst I ever had. It was a busy day and not enough servers. I went to the bar to order and I was told to wait for my server who seemed to be the only server. They had mariachis which was a nice surprise. But the food terrible 😕. The only food we liked were the basic fries with catchup. Drinks were good. Atmosphere was nice. Food terrible!

Stopped in the El Rey for dinner tonight. Alyssa was my kind and efficient server. I started with a shot of Don Julio Blanco neat, chips, salsa and an iced tea. The ambiance is cool and calm. I ordered the chicken enchiladas with red sauce which was perfect for me. The food and service was good and it's a cool place. Been there years ago and I remember they have life music as well. Many tequillas on the menu as well. Recommended

Six of us went there tonight. Horrible part-time service. I sent my dinner back because it could not be cut. No one was able to operate the terminal for tracking orders. We were there one hour for simple dinner. Had three different servers all of therm appeared new. Won't be back.

This joint is the real deal. Día de los Muertos vibes. Stiff drinks. Vegan and gluten-free friendly 🍄 portobello tacos 🌮 with verde salsa was chef’s kiss! 💋 All staff are friendly and accommodating. The food I brought to-go was amazing, according to those who ate it; delicious beef. Hugo especially went out of the way to make my 10 year old’s bday incredible. 🎈Kids specials and happy hour menu. Can’t be beat! Thanks, we will return soon.🎉

We were there on Father's day afternoon to support a friend's Band 'Moxie Raven.' The atmosphere was fun and I thought the place looked clean and tidy. We didn't have anything to eat, and the drinks were good - I had a Bloody Mary, and we also had Beer and a Old no 7 cocktail. The server and bar tender were very pleasant and fairly attentive ~ how ever I thought that they were a bit on the slow side getting the drinks out. Anyway, we had a nice time and we will definitely go back for food and more entertainment. It's seems like a nice place to hang out for a little food & drink.
