Establos has remodeled and put their cash registers in the middle section of the store making for a better if not perfect traffic flow. This a Mexican specialty grocery store with an option to order or take out food. Pan dulce from Panadería Vanessa in Oxnard is brought in fresh daily. There is now a nice expanded eating area, where Rocket Fizz used to be. We go for the tacos, freshly made guacamole and to buy El Metate corn tortillas. Mexican sodas like Jarritos, paletas, cookies...
One of the best markets I've been to by far. Good quality warm food, the inside is expanded as a bigger location for a bigger dine in. Everything about it is authentic and great customer service. I've been coming here since a kid, and just seeing it evolve into something better and bigger is amazing.
It’s come a long way.Beans are mush?, salsa is good, shrimp tacos are not good… like mush. Asada is ok. Ceviche is spot on though.The prices are low and set for the quality which is low.Hopefully they grow in taste. Mexican food is delicious, if you know how to cook it. Quality over quantity.
