We stopped by Lure Fish House in Camarillo before heading to the mall and it was a great experience overall. The service was excellent from start to finish and the food was really good. I am a big fan of oysters and theirs were incredibly fresh, which was definitely a highlight. The ceviche was a bit on the simple side but still enjoyable.
I recommend this spot if you are in the area or visiting the mall nearby. A solid choice for fresh seafood and friendly service.

Please make sure your waiters know that eye contact is important. Treating everyone at the same table equally is also very important. Especially when it comes to something like paying the bill. Catering to 2 out of 3 people for the bill and leaving the last person out is strange behavior.
Everyone in my family enjoyed the fish, but for a fish house I have to say the steak was amazing. It was extremely tender and flavorful.
If you're seated outside, it can get chilly around this time of year, but we were ok once the heater was turned on.
One point that should be addressed if possible is the bathroom setup. Although clean, the gaps between the sides of the door for the first stall do not provide the privacy you would expect from a bathroom making it uncomfortable for both people using the stall and people waiting for the bathroom.

Had an amazing experience at the bar this past Sunday. The happy hour at lure is the best in town. Our bartender for the evening Lauren was amazing and knew exactly how to make a drink, very easy to talk to and makes that bar seat feel at home when you’re there. The Calamari and charbroiled oysters were divine and cooked to perfection, the tuna ponzu was my personal favorite of the night. It’s nice to come into a restaurant and feel good when you leave. I will always make it a point to stop here while in town. Thank you Lure.
