Dinner with my cousin in Camarillo was a delight. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing—at least until the Dodgers made an incredible comeback from a 0-5 deficit! The whole restaurant erupted in cheers as they clinched the game, adding a fun and memorable energy to the evening.
As for the food, the Tuna Ponzu was outstanding—so good that we could’ve happily enjoyed it as both our appetizer and main course. This dish is a must-try; even if you order nothing else, make sure to experience it. The swordfish was beautifully prepared, and I enjoyed the mushrooms and fries as sides, each perfectly cooked and flavorful. My cousin had the seafood Louie, which was so generous she ended up taking half of it home.
The service was attentive without being intrusive, and every dish came out just right. This is a wonderful spot to relax, unwind, and savor great food with friends and family. Don’t miss out on Lure—and definitely treat yourself to the Tuna Ponzu. Looking forward to our next visit!

Fish was great, good seasoning & cooked correctly. Parmasion potatoes cake was terrible, it tasted old was not able to eat. Picked up taste from dirty grill is my guess. The whole restaurant was loud, people's voices, babies screaming, music too loud. We eat at Lure's frequently and this c afternoon wasn't up to great.

I have been dining at Lure Camarillo Fish House for 13 years. I realized today that I neglected to write a review for this incredible restaurant. The food and the ambience are outstanding and we have never been disappointed. We have all of our family functions and work meetings here at the restaurant and have always had incredible food and wonderful service. I also wanted to give a huge kudos to the lead bartender named Christian. He has such a positive attitude and takes pride in his work. He plays a huge role in making this restaurant successful. He’s always so respectful, extremely knowledgeable and provides genuine customer service. We travel the world extensively and have never met anybody with such a great personality, such patience and passion for their work. The drinks he serves are outstanding. All of the bar staff that work underneath his tutelage have a great admiration for him, and they are also very talented, respectful, and move with the sense of urgency when we are there. They spoil us every time. I recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly. You will never be disappointed. Also, if you’re ever having a bad day, sit at the bar. Christian and his crew will turn your day around. Thank you to the best bar staff in the US. It’s always a pleasure. 10 stars if I could. Miss Maria

Carla was a great advocate for the quality of food. She shared that all the sauces are made in house blueberries for the cobbler are roasted on premises and fresh. They also have organic options.
I know that a few of these items are mentioned on the menu but I would like to see more staff offer that information up makes a big difference compared to other restaurants quality of food.
No matter how many times you eat at a restaurant. There is always a little room for improvement. Love the Cesar salad with ahi tuna .

The food portions are awfully small.i took pictures of the food I was very disappointed. Very little portion on the crispy calamari there were more fried jalapeños They were only spreading on the plate. And the miso glazed salmon bowl didn't have the right miso pasta it had white rice with lots of corn and Asparagus which it never had! We also had the fry shrimpwith the fried fish and fries. Over battered.The Salomon was a very small piece 24.00 I am disappointed with the changes. We spent over 100.00 that wasn't worth it. The Waiter was in a mood day never came by to ask if we were good a other waiter came a check on us and gave us Refills On our Drinks. There's no reason for bad service and bad quality of food. This was at the time of open 11:30 am This was our #1 place at the beginning Changing your recipes and quantity. Portions. Are going to make you lose customers. I was very disappointed. We would be looking for another seafood restaurant with better service and better quality of seafood. I wish I knew how to post the pictures on here. So people can see the quality and the portion sizes. It was just ridiculous. We wouldn't go here anymore. It's not the same anymore.
