I was here to get a to go order, checked in and waited 15 minutesI was asked by 3 different people more than one time each if I had been helped, I told all 3 people multiple times that the l was there to pick up an order, told them the name and after 15 minutes they finally realized they never started the order. Absolutely the worst service in Camarillo don’t eat here they are rude and clueless

This used to be our favorite sushi placeLarge portions, great pricesWe have been regulars for a while and always know what we want without looking at the menu.Recently we came in for dinner and were told "we're closed"I said "I thought you close at 9pm" (it was just before 8:30 when we walked in)He said "well we already did last call"Surprised last call would be so early before closing, I asked "what time is last call?" He said "8:30"I looked at my phone and showed him the time "it is 8:30"He said "we already called it, take out orders only."A half before closing seems a fine time to arrive at a restaurant, especially if you already know what you want.Since it was (before this) our favorite place, we were really disillusioned by being turned away a full half hour before closing when even by their claim that 8:30pm is last call, we were still there in time. I think they just wanted to go home early maybe? But it didn't seem to make much sense.I've never known of a 30 minute last call, but now we know not to come here for dinner even if it's not closed yet.

I usually go here for their lunch specials, and I always get 3-item lunch special with Port Cutlets, spicy tuna rolls, and 4 pieces of sushi. It's not the best, but overall it's good.

It's been years since we have returned because we always just thought it was ok.... BUT we recently returned and it was delicious!! They were out of the sake we like and also the ice cream, but hopefully it will be back our next visit. We ordered the Ventura roll and the omega roll ? so good, and fresh. Their restroom needs attention, but I think a lot of these places usually do.Also, the young man who serves.... possibly Masas son- he is quick to take orders, like too fast in a rushing way and doesn't like if you ask questions about the menu. He is nice though and the other servers are aware and will jump in. Everyone who works there is nice. Definitely going again soon! The outside seating is a plus!

Good food but the worst service I've ever had and they will most likely take over 45 minutes to make your food. Not to mention your tips don't go to your server, they go to the owner. If you order on doordash or for pickup, expect 2 hours for your food to be prepared or delivered.Parking: parking fills quickly
The food was cold and the service slow. Not the up to past experience which made it our go-to Japanese restaurant. Not no more.
