Love this place. For starters, you need to go to happy hour in the back, great drinks and menu. If we miss the happy hour, then I always order the mole enchiladas. The mole is authentic, not too chocolatey, not too spicy (at least for me) just right. The owner, his family and staff are very attentive. Don't let the exterior fool you to think this is a hole in the wall. It's always busy with locals!

On you way to Central coast wine country, t would be a sin not to stop here! Family place. Ok ignore the location. The staff here (Edgar) can not be beat. Traditional Mexican family run. And even though it's alway packed, you will be seated. And the food comes out at the right temp, on time but still made fresh and flavors of Mexico. Take home the home made tamales!!! Great job you guys.

The people were super nice and helpful and wonderful. The food was mediocre, bland, no flavor, no kick, not really Mexican. One and done. Sorry, I wanted it to be good. There are so many good Mexican restaurants out there try them.

Good quick & friendly service, fresh food, great chips with hot & mild salsa, great drinks, service with a smile & excellent prices for portions. They even let me taste their margarita leftovers! I'll be back whenever I'm in town , Edgar & Ashley are fantastic!!!?Parking: Easy & plentiful

The Sunday brunch included delicious dishes such as mole, ribs, menudo, pozole, eggs made to order, shrimp, cheese and chicken enchiladas, shrimp or fish ceviche, bite-sized desserts like caramel flan and impossible flan and jamaica to drink. The bottomless mimosas were a bit more elusive. I had to ask two times if there were mimosas included with the brunch, and finally went up to the cashier to ask for ketchup because no one was checking the tables when one of the girls looked up from talking in the kitchen and finally brought out a small wineglass with a mimosa. I only wanted one, but it was a challenge to get. While there were four or five women in the front reception area and kitchen, it was very difficult to catch a waitress to attend our needs. The egg station was in another room at the bar( no one told us that either- my friend just happened to know.) I asked for a coffee and only café de olla was being served, but they nicely made a fresh pot for me. In summary, food was great, atmosphere was festive, but at $75 dollars for two people for brunch, the table service could be improved.

We went there today with a party of 6 adults and 2 children for their Sunday Brunch, the food is good, but beware if you have 6 or more people in your party they will charge you a fee, we got charged $48 extra! We won't be going there again! Unbelievable that they would charge you this on top of your bill, and they do not tell you this before you order! we spent $242 plus they charged us an extra $48

I had a birthday party for my daughters 34th birthday. The brunch was very good. Very authentic. Our waiter was extremely helpful and accommodating to our needs. Our party consisted of 12 guests. The only downfall is the place is very tight. Not much room to move around. The music was a little too loud. I definitely recommend if you're having a big party to call and make reservations. They have people waiting outside to get in for their brunch. I would definitely recommend it from to my friends and family

Service is good but food took a long time. It came out over an extended time rather than together.

This is a fun old-school type, Mexican restaurant, situated in basically a business park. Off of Las Posas. Their food is very good and very reasonably priced, their margaritas are renowned, and the servers are nice and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend this place.

We have been coming here for a solid year and it's been great since day one. the food is always good and close to home. However, the best thing is the customer service. The bartenders are the best ever! The drinks are always on point and are consistently done well. Mari, Esme, and Ashely are the best and are a big reason why we come and recommend Money Ponchos. It's hard to find a place that reminds me of home and this is the place. I hope it never changes!

We were on our way from TO to Ventura and figured we'd stop for dinner on the way. The reviews were good so we tried it, and it did not disappoint! The drinks were great, the food was delicious, and the fried ice cream was fabulous!! The decor was pretty authentic and the service was great. I'm really glad we ended up here!Kid-friendliness: We had our 12 year old and our toddler with us. The kids menu was just right, they brought us some extra watermelon and avocado for the baby, and it was loud enough that his little shouts and talking didn't bother anyone. ?
