I always sit outside and watch the people walk by. A favorite of mine and my son for breakfast. Food is excellent and staff friendly and efficient.

It's a very busy sit down cafe. They were a little short handed for the amount of people in the cafe but service was very friendly just not quick. If you like sweet coffee the lattes were excellent. We got the vanilla latte and a mocha. We got the advocado toast and breakfast burrito and the food was ok. Not quite as flavorful and fresh as I was hoping for for the price. They had a very extensive menu with a little bit of everything related to a breakfast cafe. Price point was about $25 per person with coffee, food, and tip.

Everytime i come to Camarillo i come to this place. The corn beef hash is delicious and all their breakfast too. My favorite breakfast spot. Everybody is nice here. People who complain because the food is done cooked super fast should just go to McDonald's. This is freshly made food from scratch.

Delightful little cafe in old town Camarillo! Great service and they had the Rams game on! Awesome place. Amazing food.

There’s a waiter there that’s partially deaf apparently from what I was told who is incredibly rude and off putting from the moment I walked in. Just because you have a problem doesn’t give you an excuse to take it out on others.

We had a great first visit to Old Town Cafe! Tried the churro waffle and Baja-style eggs Benedict — both were delicious. I also had a cappuccino topped with caramel, and wow… it was outstanding!

The place has a great vibe — clean, cozy, and welcoming. Service was friendly and quick too. Just a heads-up: we went on a Sunday, and the place filled up fast. There are fewer than 10 tables inside plus an outdoor patio, so if you come late, be ready for a short wait.

So many great items on the menu — we’ll definitely be back to try more. Really impressed!

Update:
We went again on Saturday morning and many tables were available. This time, we ordered the Huevos Rancheros and the Latin Lover — both were juicy and flavorful. The sauce on the Huevos Rancheros was especially great. After our meal, we walked over to the Camarillo Farmers Market, just about 1.5 blocks away. Perfect weekend morning!

Worst breakfast I've had in twenty years.
Tried the corned beef hash and it was inedible.

Sunday breakfast. Delicious food, friendly attentive service and fun location. Build your own Eggs Benedict was so enjoyable. The hollandaise sauce was good...VERY GOOD and the eggs were cooked properly. Everyone working there was so attentive. In a time when customer service has nearly disappeared, they truly care about your experience. Very lovely restaurant.

I really like Old Town Cafe but Sunday we did not have a great experience. I’m not sure if there is a new cook or manager or maybe it was just a bad day. We had 3 people in our party and all of our food came out at different times and even the order itself per person came out at different times. My mom ordered a Belgian waffle with egg and sausage. The waffles came first and then 20 mins later the egg and sausage. My order was the same by the time my fries came to the table I had already eaten my sandwich. Very disappointing.

I was in a hurry on a Sunday morning before work and called this restaurant for a to-go order. I ordered the sunrise and added cheese. They told me the food was going to be ready pretty quick which was what I was looking for.

I arrived and waited in line to get my order. The server behind the counter helped all 3 people in front of me but when it was my turn she suddenly had to make drinks. I figured I will just wait. She did acknowledge me but was very focused on her making her drink.

After a few minutes, someone who worked in the kitchen came out to write an order on one of the to-go box. She did so very slowly. When she turned around with the box to face me, I saw that it was my food. I was very glad it was already done, but I was also very distracted by needing to be back outside asap to be in touch with the person driving me.

I was charged an extra $1.25 for cheese even though the person over the phone never mentioned it to me. Granted, I understand, but I would have appreciated a heads up.

Frustrated by the overall experience, I just got a refund instead of having any of the food.

First of all, Marc, you are absolutely incredible. Seeing you work was like a triage nurse directing people and I say this in all the right ways. Thank you for your seamless work and thank you for supporting active and retired military members!
