The staff was very intentive and was very informative about the menu. Julie was very friendly and was a great hostess. The food is great and you will have a great experience. If you are in the Camarillo area of California it is a great place to stop.
I had not been to Octavio‘s since before Covid. I was wanting to have a nice lunch in the dining room. But I quickly learned wait service was not available, but the deli area was open and I could get food from there and sit in the dining area.

I wanted to love Ottavio's since it's a Camarillo institution. The service, atmosphere, and decor were really great. Unfortunately the food fell short as everything is drowned in sauce. My daughter's meat ravioli had more sauce than ravioli. I ordered the seafood linguine with white sauce - it should have been a light cream sauce, but it turned out to be the ultra heavy alfredo sauce that was on my other daughter's penne pasta. There was 3x sauce than pasta/seafood...
