I have dined in on several visits at Sesame Garden in 2024 and
"Walked In" to Dine In on Saturday January 4, 2025. On each visit I was ignored/not acknowledged by the "Only Employee" who was the Server (possibly owner or family member) on each occasion. She would Not acknowledge my presence or come to my table to take my order, while assisting other customers. I did voice my displeasure out loud while sitting patiently to have my order taken while dining there on different occasions. Other issues, If I didn't order a drink, she became irritated. If I asked for additional
"Sweet & Sour Sauce", she would become irritated. If I asked for extra napkins, she would become irritated. She catered to those speaking her native language which I presume made her most confortable. I patronized the restaurant because I enjoyed eating their food. Unfortunately the service was mediocre so I will venture out for other "Chinese Restaurants" in Camarillo who can make "Spicy/Hot" Chinese food which is hard to find in Camarillo.

The food is the best, prices are fair, the people very friendly whether we're eating there or picking up a to-go order.
The atmosphere isn't really their fault, it's a standard restaurant box in a strip mall. There's only so much you can do with that.
Wheelchair accessibility: Navigable ramps, double doors, and wheelchair available tables in place. It wouldn't be a bad idea to call in advance so they can steer more mobile customers to other seating options.

Not much to write home about. Server was rude, inattentive, and didn’t understand English. Food was okay, but not worth bad service and shabby atmosphere. Only plus side was it was relatively inexpensive.

Customer service is absolutely terrible!
Well, the truth is, I wanted to try the food at this restaurant, the dishes we chose were very good tasting, but in the end it was not what we wanted, but what the waitress said, the service was terrible, I was really very disappointed by the way the waitress serves the customers and the poor way of bringing the dishes to the table, when paying I did not include the tip, (I did not receive good service) which bothered the waitress or owner, who in a way She rudely warned us that if we wanted to order food from that restaurant again, she would only sell us takeaway, don't worry, I WILL NOT RETURN.

Got off the freeway on a road trip to go to a nearby burger place. Burger place had limited inside seating, all taken, and it was too cold to eat outside. We drove through the shopping center and picked this restaurant. Service was quick and efficient. Atmosphere was a little boring. Clean and neat, but seating is only along the walls, so there's just a big open space in the middle. The food was really good though. My husband and I shared a Won Ton Soup (2 person portion) and a Chicken with Cashew entree and each got a side order of rice. The soup was great, lots of veggies, plus chicken, pork, and shrimp in it. The broth was a lot richer than other places I had it. The cashew chicken was excellent as well. Also, the only cost difference vs the burger meals was only about $2-3 per person. Well worth it to sit in comfort with full service and a much healthier meal. We'll definitely keep them in mind for a meal if we're in the area again.
