I never mind paying for good food at a restaurant .. as long as the service is good too. Slate is a bit pricey to be honest, however the service makes it all worth it. I come here every other month, and always leave happy. Met the owner last time I was there .. this guy LOVES his business .. and it shows.

We had brunch on last Sunday, and we had prime rib, sushi, fresh shrimps, chicken and grilled salmon plus desserts. The mimosa, margaritas and martinis are unlimited for 2 hours. It was a feast.

The shrimp pancetta fettuccine was great but dont get it without the pancetta cause it lacked salt but otherwise, everything was excellent! So my apologies to the chef. Sushi was great, tempura broccolini & honey garlic bread was all fantastic. But the buttercake was the absolute BEST!!! Our waitress was fantastic & Leo the bartender was very nice, my drinks were fantastic. Apparently, everyone was celebrating their birthday, at least 3-4 times, bdays were acknowledged including mine, so I'll be back for sureParking: Ample

So this is definitively my husband and my favorite spot to get dinner. Whether it be an anniversary, a special day, or any day you want to enjoy yourself… Slate is the spot. Joey has been our favorite waiter so far and took care of us (even my ridiculous requests like asking what the Spotify playlist was). Their drinks are amazing, their food is delicious, and their prices are honestly such a good deal for the quality of the food. Even if you’re on a pinch, go for the happy hour. You can’t beat the Chardonnay Chicken for $19. 10/10

After numerous visits, I've discovered that the sushi, steak and dessert dinner for two with champagne is a wonderful way to celebrate a special occasion! Sushi roll is the perfect appetizer to share, kale Caesar salads are huge, and four steak choices with ALL the special sauces with tempura broccoli and potatoes DIVINE and beautifully presented. Definitely a FEAST! The meal included one dessert but we got another complimentary one because we were celebrating a birthday. With the candle and champagne, it provided the perfect photo op! Kudos to our fabulous server (Joey R) for taking the photos and making our evening soooo special.

The menu has a variety of choices. Next time we go there, we want to try the sushi as it looks great. We went on Sunday night and it wasn't crowded which I am glad. We made our reservation and I advise if you are going to dine here, make a reservation. It's easy. The prices are reasonable for what you get. Highly recommend this new place...well it's new to us. Not sure why it's called "Slate". We asked but did not get an answer. It's a great place. Thanks.

we were looking forward to celebrating two birthdays, and we walked into the restaurant for happy hour. We were met with an absolutely ridiculously loud, mariachi band playing for a party. We could barely hear ourselves talk. we ended up having to sit outside where it was a little chilly. All in all, we were very disappointed that we were not advised of this ridiculously loud band playing. our server, was also surprised how loud the music was, even as we sat outside.

We had such a fun time at Slate Bistro! We ate on the beautiful super spacious and warm patio with our pets, and the staff was so kind to our little guys. The sushi was delicious and unique, I had been really bored with sushi these days, before having Slate Bistro's Malibu roll. We tried the dinner for 2, which I really recommend and comes with starters, main dishes, and dessert. We shared the Potato Leek soup ceasar salad starter, and both were standout fantastic. The steaks were incredible as were the sauces and that broccoli-we've never had broccoli so good. Even with all this, the dessert is not to be missed. We were so full we had to take the bread pudding to go, and even reheated later, it was beyond amazing.
