I’ve been eating the same burrito order since 2018 and the quality has been on a continuous slide. This past Saturday 3/29/25 the burrito was so awful I have resolved to never return. It was essentially an El Paso tortilla with dry fish, a few shrimp and an over serving of cabbage filler. I ordered it Brooklyn style but it was nothing like the burritos of old. I used to rant and rave and recommend this to friends and visitors. I cannot any longer. $37 dollars for 2 dry burritos is egregious. Mind you this is after a 10 mile trail run when my standards for what are ‘good’ are near their absolute minimum.

My favorite fish taco in all of Ventura and Los Angeles County! There are a lot of other great menu options but I can’t help but order the world famous fish taco every time. They make their own salsas and special sauce, the tacos are large and a great value. They have half price tacos Monday-Thursday from 3-5pm and a happy hour Monday-Friday 3-6pm. The servers are attentive and so awesome, the restaurant is clean and it’s a great atmosphere. The patio is great and there are heaters for the cooler weather as well as a large table with the ability to have a fire.

Crazy cool atmosphere, the first time in 5 years of being stationed here where it felt like home. Music was on point, staff were fantastic, food was fresh and out quickly. Place was clean and welcoming. Even saw a family praying before their meal which I thought was heartwarming. Will be back again with more friends. Food we got for the first time was the world famous fish taco w/o the sauce due to ingredients and being allergic. 7/10 and the chicken strips and fries as a safe bet. 6/10. Want to try more menu items for sure and their drink selection. Had some cool brews and hats for sale. Not sure if the team member shirts are for sale but they look cool. Payed $29 including tip for 2 people and that feels pretty average for most places around here. They also have outdoor seating and a bar seating area. Takeout was popping off while we were there I think I saw at least 7 different people get take out during the 50min we were there.

This was my first time coming here and I was very disappointed with the food. Once I got my order, it was cold, did it have any flavor the fish was a steal. Plus the drinks were horrible. Waste of $50!!!!!! I don't recommend this restaurant.

Heard great things about this place so I decided to try it. Had one grilled and one fried. The grilled fish had no flavor but it was fresh. The fried had more batter than anything. The tacos were more cabbage than anything. The sauce was a dollop if that and was a little too sweet and because it was too little the taco had no flavor then all the flavor in a half bite of the end. The tortilla was cold and not good. Would not come back here. The price is too high for what they offer.

Easily one of the best food spots in Ventura county. Whether the Ventura or Camarillo location, you're sure to get amazing food. The Caribbean blaze sauce is killer.

The fish and chips were great! The menu list the fries at "seasoned", but fortunately you hardly taste the seasoning at all. Lost one star in the rating because they have Pepsi, which, aside from that it would have been nice to have a Coke with the meal, always makes me concerned about the possibility of other ingredients chosen on price.

Overrated. Got two fish tacos, Brooklyn style, one fried, one grilled. Grilled fish was lost in all the veg, pretty flavorless, although well cooked and seemed decent quality. Fried one overall was better but the fish is well over cooked and just kinda mushed by the end of it. Sauce is too sweet for me as well. Lotta veg which is nice. Also tortilla was terrible, seemed stale.

Disappointed!!! I ordered their famous fish tacos . Only order 1 grilled fish taco. My order came and the fish is not grilled at all. I thought there’s no fish on the taco coz the taco is loaded with cabbage. Very DISAPPOINTING ? There store sign is misleading ! Be aware .
