All I wanted was appetizers so I ordered the wings in calamari. I definitely recommend the wings, but I would definitely pass on a calamar

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner last night. While the timeless decor and familiar menu delivered exactly what we expected, it was Sabina’s exceptional service that truly elevated the experience. She was attentive, warm, and engaging throughout the evening—an absolute delight to interact with. One especially touching moment was watching her surprise a longtime regular with a birthday card, a gesture that spoke volumes about her thoughtfulness and dedication. Sabina went above and beyond, and in today’s service industry, that kind of genuine care is a rare gem. Thank you for a lovely evening!

As I’m working in this local area, I decided to stop by for lunch on a Wednesday. This is a unique restaurant, an atmosphere that you would normally find in a Moore remote area.
Ambience of a locally owned restaurant rather than the national chains, a refreshing difference.
Menu was moderately priced, with items, such as half pound burgers, roast beef, pork chops, fried chicken, etc.
Picture of menu is included.
I chose a chef salad which was excellent.
Wright off of the 101 at Central so easy to get to and if you get too full to drive, there’s a Fairfield hotel next-door.

If your looking for a dingy outdated dirty place this is for you.
Went in for cocktails first it was such a crap show with lousy service we only had cocktails and that was a far stretch.
How this place gets a decent rating is beyond me it's fixed . Please judge for your self but this business is truly a dump!

Wow food was great I had chicken fried steak and eggs and it was the first legit chicken fried steak I found in California! Omelets are at least 2 meals.

Great food and friendly services. We was there for branch and live their seafood omelette. Pancake and their home make syrup are really good. Yammy.

Went to hear the band playing that evening and decided to order dinner and was very pleased with my choice of the SF BBQ Chicken Salad. Great portion size, fresh ingredients, really good flavors. The onion rings were top notch as well.
Service was very good and professional even under the full crowd conditions - the room was crowded and bustling.

Great neighborhood atmosphere, fun friendly staff and great service. The menu options will have you coming back often and everything I've ordered has been excellent!

Had reservations to eat at 8pm on a Saturday. Sat at the bar from 730 to about 810. Walked over to the restaurant and waitress tells us kitchen closes at 830 so if you don't get your order in quick enough, they will be closed. We were the only table in there. As we left, the bartender runs out and says don't leave, she'll take the orders herself. But the other couple we were with had already left. Bartender was very sincere and told us to look her up next time. I think her name was Kim

I was staying at the Holiday Inn across the street and decided to grab something to eat. The lady at the front desk recommended this place, so I gave it a shot — and I’m glad I did. There aren’t a lot of dining options in the immediate area, by the way.

I went on a Thursday night, which happened to be karaoke night. The vibe was fun, and everyone was pretty friendly. They had a decent selection of draft beer — I went with an 805, which hit the spot.

I ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, and it was excellent. Comfort food done right. I’d definitely go back again.

Also, I took some pictures of the menu for anyone who’s curious.

Hand a plain hamburger, it was fantastic! The Bar Tender was attentive and gave good advice on the burger.
I had clam chowder as a side (appetizer), it was very deserving of praise also.
If you’re near, stop in and have a meal, you will not be disappointed.

A classic steakhouse with a lively bar, In my opinion, The Sportsman has the best food in all of SoCal. They use fresh, high-quality ingredients and it is always perfectly prepared. I no longer live in the area so last weekend was the first time I’d eaten there in two years. I was surprised to see that they hadn’t raised their prices during that time.
