Every time I shop here, it's an absolute pleasure. The staff are exceptionally helpful, the other customers are pleasant to interact with, and the inventory always seems to be plentiful. Their $5.00 deals are crazy good and produce is always fresh; freshest in town, I'm inclined to state.
The only drawback about this location (and the reason they're a 4 instead of a 5) is the checkout process. I don't know, maybe I just have bad luck, but there never seems to be enough registers open...

This is a nice Vons. Always clean and friendly employees. The deli was nicely stocked with fresh food and very clean. They have the best fried chicken too.

I’m new to the neighborhood and stopped in on my way to work. It was early so there was only one checker (name tag said Toni). She didn’t acknowledge me at all as she began scanning my items. No eye contact, no good morning, no hello. I was waiting for the screen to change so that I could enter my phone number for my discounts and the only thing she said, was to bark, “enter your phone number”. I hadn’t entered it because the screen hadn’t changed yet. Overall, it was a terrible first impression of customer service of the store. Is it really that hard to be pleasant?

My encounter with the cashier at the vons in camarillo, store 2094, wasn't pleasant. Dana was the cashier and she was chatting with the customer in front of me, which is fine, but when you have to stop what you're doing to have a lengthy conversation and on top of that, take time to look at pictures of what the customer ate on her phone, that's when I get a bit frustrated. I turned to the man behind me in line and he said, "we'll get there eventually." I smirked and tried to embrace his words. When my turn finally approached, I greeted her kindly and she returned it but with no eye contact. Then she proceeded to, literally TOSS my groceries through the scanner! She made an extra effort to put more strength into smashing down my bananas as she weighed them, ensuring effective bruising. I like this store but sometimes the cashiers are a 50/50 gamble.

Stopped for the Friday Deal! Any grande drink and pastry only $6! Omar was there working alone. I could tell he was slammed because he was the only one working. He did a great job assisting everyone and he prepared the drinks properly! Great job Omar!

When I moved to Camarillo, I’m so happy that vons only a few blocks from my house, but then a few times I encountered a very rude cashier, I think to myself i will do the self checkout, but sometimes I can’t because I was buying Alcohol, and today again, the lady cashier just rude to me with no reason! I don’t understand why some people so angry!

This particular vons is always out of the Horizon milk, only thing they always have enough of is the Lucerne brand, mostly that's all they have, Secondly never any fresh baked bread or Mr goodpop ice cream, just a favorite of mine and thirdly, aisles are very cramped and not enough room especially in the egg and yogurt section..Fourth the meat dept is very limited on marinated meat etc. and this store just feels dingy and depressing, this store is old you can tell especially if and when the computers freeze on you when your at the cash register, multiple times it's happened to me...just numerous things wrong with this store and lack of inventory makes me want to drive the extra 2 miles to go to the vons on Arneill. Maybe an overhaul, or just moving things around abit, some fresh baked bread and having milk other than Lucerne could make a big difference...

2024 March 28 -- we recently moved to Camarillo, and this is the closest Vons location. Today is my 5th visit, and I usually visit around this time. None of my experiences at this location have been positive.
Today, the shelves are not properly stocked, yet the aisles are filled w boxes of inventory. This mess also made it difficult to move through the aisles.
I asked for assistance locating items, probably 3-4 times from different Vons employees. Not one was able to assist me, and one actually said "if you don't see it there we don't have it."
At the end of my shop, I attempted to get a drink at the Starbucks. An Indian/ Pakistani woman was working that location. As I approached to place my order, she looked at me angrily and walked away. I said to her I'd like to place an order. Her response was that I could wait as she needed to make someone else's order. There was no one else ahead of me, and she walked away. I'd call this RACISM because she clearly did not like the way I looked.
