Why has the price for a simple rocket roll gone up so much 🙃🙃 2 years ago it was like $14 then when up to $16 and is now $18 🫠 what’s going on bruh🤦🏻‍♀️

We really liked the food, and the service was great. Unfortunately, the smell of cleaning solution in the restaurant was overpowering, and I don't think we can do a repeat visit because of that one thing. My husband and I both left with headaches from the smell.

Today, I came to this sushi restaurant for the first time, it is on the side of the highway, the environment is elegant, the food is very delicious, the staff attitude is also very good, although they were very busy at that time. I'll be back again.

This used to be my family’s go-to sushi spot in Camarillo for the last 10+ years. Unfortunately, new ownership has completely ruined this restaurant. The new head sushi chef is very unprofessional, he didn’t greet us upon seating at the sushi bar and refused to take our order, saying we had to order from the waitress instead, very uncommon for sushi bars. Then, the appetizers were brought out in the wrong order, our actual sushi took 40+ minutes to get to us (despite the restaurant not being crowded). The service was horrible as well, we could tell that the servers were new, poorly trained, and didn’t know what they were doing. I had to ask multiple times for water, wasabi, and ginger. The server told me they couldn’t make a lobster hand roll, which turned out to be incorrect. She seemed extremely overwhelmed and frustrated.

The ambiance is very dark and dingy, with no decorations whatsoever. The roll quality and creativity is also very poor. The only positive thing I can say about Sushi Planet now, is that the nigiri seemed to be decent quality compared to the rolls.

Unfortunately, we won’t be returning here anymore.

Be careful because the bill already includes a 15% tip, I didn't notice it and added 15% again, finally I paid a 30% tip!! which seems to be a trade trap

I sampled a bento box and sushi. The bento box was tasty and the size was generous. The quality of the sushi was very good and fresh.

The Sushis are well prepared and fresh. We got here later in the evening and there was still full service. I also liked the Sake. Service was friendly.

The place is horribly small and dark, the bill already included a 15% tip and it also asked you to indicate when paying, which confused me and I indicated 15% more… finally and with tricks I left 30%
