Tifa Chocolate and Gelato

Got a pumpkin gelato and it was soft and lovely. The vibes are really chill here its a good spot to hang out and study or quietly chat.

Great flavors and excellent service

This was first time here at Tifa, and had heard some good things about them but they don't have one where I'm from so I figured I would give it a try.... There was decent amount of flavors, I'd say around twenty... I got lemon cookie, dark chocolate, and strawberry rose.... All three of which I liked, however all the flavors seemed to be a bit on the soupey side. This doesn't bother me, as I got mine in a cup, but my niece had hers in a cone and it was a mess, granted she doesn't eat very quickly, but she had a full blowout in the bottom of her waffle cone... It was a mess, but nothing we are not used to. Always try to talk her into getting a cup, but never works. Other than that, everything was pretty good, some dirty tables, some strange knick knacks for sale and it definitely wasn't cheap... but what is these days..?. The board games were a nice touch, and it had a, come in and hang out for a while, vibe to it... All in all, it was pretty good...

Start by removing the markers. Seriously. That alone would fix half the chaos.

What kind of coffee shop encourages kids to run around like it’s recess just to scribble all over the windows? Meanwhile, the rest of us — paying customers — are stuck dodging tantrums and spilled drinks just to sit down.

And the writing on the glass? It's not cute. It’s full of racist slurs, creepy drawings, and completely inappropriate garbage. Do you even look at what’s being written?

⭐ 1-Star Review: For Entitled Parents Who Think a Coffee Shop is Their Daycare

Let me make something crystal clear for those who clearly missed the memo: this is a coffee shop — not a daycare, not a playground, not your living room, and definitely not your child’s personal jungle gym. Yes, there are board games at the tables. No, that does not mean you’re invited to let your kids run wild like untrained zoo animals. Those games are there to entertain — quietly — while parents sip a coffee or enjoy a gelato like civilized adults. That doesn’t give you a free pass to check out of parenting and treat the space like Chuck E. Cheese. Today, a woman walked in with her 6-year-old who immediately charged toward the glass like a banshee, tried to climb over our chairs, attempted to grab our tea, and almost stepped on our laptops — including three MacBooks and one very expensive laptop we needed for today meeting! When we kindly asked the mother to take control of her child (aka do her job), she looked at us like we were homeless squatters and had the audacity to say, “There’s more space at the library if you don’t want to be bothered by kids.”

Excuse me? No, ma’am. This isn’t about “kids.” It’s about respect, parenting, and basic human decency. Don’t gaslight paying customers who are trying to work in peace. We’re not here for your brat’s meltdown or your attitude.
The worst part? She acted like we were the problem — like adults who came to a coffee shop to work quietly were somehow intruding on her right to let her child scream and scribble on walls.

𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐬𝐟𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐡: You’re not entitled to disrupt a shared public space just because you decided to reproduce.

Coffee shops are meant for relaxing, working, and respectful socializing — not babysitting entitled strangers’ kids. So unless you plan on parenting, maybe take your chaos elsewhere. There are parks and playgrounds for a reason. Use them.

Great gelato for the price and tons of activities inside to enjoy

Great latte & gelato! Best Gelato i’ve ever had. The atmosphere is so chill/majestic, nice music, family friendly environment, nice staff & customers.

Been going to the place for years. High-quality gelato, fun, family atmosphere, Games to play on site and the staff is always very friendly. It’s open late too, which is great for the city of Camarillo. Support your Local Plaza and come on down here you’ll have fun.

Love this place, this business GETS IT! They provide quality food, gelato is incredible, chocolate truffles and more also look amazing! There's great coffee and tea there as well. The owner and staff are very friendly and don't mind to give samples to help choose your gelato without the schoff I feel at fro yo places when asking for a sample. I always buy though, people that take advantage of samples and don't buy I can understand would bug over time. This place is great and its set up for community, conversation, dates, games they have as well for longer visits, which are encouraged.

We came to enjoy some drinks and just chill. They had a deck of cards and dominoes! We were there a couple hours enjoying our gelato, bread and lattes.

Tifa Chocolate and Gelato is a great place for anyone who loves gelato. They have many different flavors, so you’ll easily find your favorite. The store is clean and has a nice atmosphere. What makes it special is the excellent service—everyone is friendly and happy to help.

Besides gelato, Tifa also has other desserts like cookies and brownies... There’s plenty of parking, places to sit, and even games to play while you enjoy your treats. If you're in Camarillo and want something sweet, Tifa Chocolate and Gelato is a great choice!

My favorite Tifa location! Super roomy with lots of windows, good bathrooms, and everything else I usually love about Tifa.

Quite good ice cream, not really gelato.. Very crunchy wafer cone
