They were out of mochas the day I went (which also happened to be my first time there). But the cashier made an alternate recommendation which was spot on. Can't go wrong with Beacon Coffee in any event. Very cool artsy vibe.

Coffee, cafe & rotating art gallery!Really great vibe in this coffee shop!We were greeted at the front door by a muralist that was painting the area history in the entry way.We had a large party and we all ordered separately. Great friendly service & the drinks were served quickly & hotThere was a menu of drinks and food items. we ordered a variety for the table to share.We were in the area on a tour. The Tree Lounge was a welcoming spot to find. With WiFi!Lots of other guests milling about the space. Wonderful assortment of artwork thru out. Coffee is great, place is great, but the service did make me feel unwelcome. Some of the baristas seemed annoyed with customers. No acknowledgment that they noticed you were in line, no hello, no thank you. Tried the place a handful of times and really felt unwelcome each time that it was difficult going in. It’s a shame cause their coffee is good but that doesn’t overcome the awkward customer service and I haven’t been back.

This place is whatever. Great place to go work but it’s run mainly by a younger crowd that is blah whenever taking orders. That’s not the main issue though, they never have oat milk. Like ever. I really wanted to give this place a chance but if you don’t have the basics and have a crappy attitude, rather spend my money else where.

This is the first coffee shop who charges $1.50 for a Pup Cup! I really like to support independent local shops but this is ridiculous. Plus the guy behind the counter doesn’t own a smile. Not friendly at all.

Mediocre coffee shop. They ran out of cold brew and couldn’t even do an iced coffee. The only thing they could do was an iced americano. Service was slow. On top of that, their bathroom was really nasty. Will not come back

Service is great the coffee makers make you feel at home. I like the art in the room it is very pleasing to look at. Best coffee in ventura country without a doubt. Alexia and Matthew are especially helpful workers!

If you judge a place by the end product, then you'll be pleased. But don't dare look at the underbelly of Tree Lounge.Positives:===========* They serve Beacon coffee, and well, it is so delicious. Kudos to the choice of using them, and bringing it to us. THANKS!* The art on the walls, for sale, is lovely. Many were so beautiful, and priced to sell.* The owner and other staff member, seemed nice.Negatives:===========* Slow as molasses, and what doesn't help is that both of the staff are Chatty Cathy's. Verbose Chatty Cathy's.* At 915am, didn't have much of any pastries in display. They arrived when the gf and I were half way done with our coffees. The pastries looked good, but they are individual wrapped...no likey, but don't you want to have the case stocked and loaded for the morning rush / breakfast?* Then we witnessed shocking behavior by the lead person, who we found out was the owner. He spilt a new hot coffee on the serving counter, and all-over the floor. He came out with a rag and bucket. Proceeded to wipe up the coffee on the floor (under his shoe), then cleaned the counter with the same rag, then mopped. Because of the extreme chattiness, he was talking and talking, putting the rag back on the counter, and later, on a customer table. Not washing his hands, he touched his face, then the pastries, and headed back behind the counter. We couldn't believe it, and said something.Anyway, perhaps this will improve so that we can be assured of safe and clean environment/food/beverage, but I won't likely return until proven otherwise.
