My family really enjoys Urbane Cafe and we are frequent visitors. The food is always fresh and the service has been very quick. My kids have also gone to a field trip here and that was a lot of fun.

Food is like Panera, but way better tasting and priced right. Indoor and shaded outdoor seating, friendly service, ample free parking. Patio is dog friendly. The cookies are great too!

Normally I love this place. I ordered a power salad with grilled tofu one evening and it was delicious! Then Saturday evening I ordered one to go. It was totally different!!!!!! No feta cheese, no sweet potato no pecans...I took it to go and all I got was a huge pile of lettuce with a few edaname in it and raw small bits of tofu.. NOTHING like the first one I had when I ate in the cafe. Please be consistent...obviously some staff dont care especially when you drive far and they know you wont come back for a refund or remake

Good size sandwiches and come with salad. Tasty food . Only 2 to 3 tables inside but they have more seating outside.
Placed a large take-out order for our group of 11 on a Wednesday evening and unfortunately, had to return to pick-up one Chimichurri Steak sandwich that was ordered but not included in our large take-out order bag. Next time, we'll be sure to double-check the order to make sure all items ordered are included.
The Chimicurri Steak sandwich was quite tasty and I was very glad that I requested the cranberry chutney aioli on the side in a cup because it was not good with a very strong garlic taste. The bun was a bit heavy and could have been much better if toasted. The Cilantro Chicken salad was quite fresh and served with a delicious cilantro vinaigrette dressing. The Keto Cobb salad was also very fresh and delicious and again we were very glad that we requested the blue cheese dressing on the side in a cup because it was watery and not good. The focaccia bread was not light and tasty as expected – this focaccia bread needs to be toasted.
Overall, we were quite impressed with the freshness of the salads but quite disappointed in the focaccia bread and the cranberry chutney aioli and the watery blue cheese dressing.

My sister and I were loyal customers of the Urbane Cafe Camarillo location and have had good experiences in the past. But, as of late, both of us, during lunch have had a questionable experience with the same employee. I had gone for a pickup during lunch, and people before me went up to the pickup order area, looked for their order, picked it up and left. But, when I had approached the pickup order area, the employee stood near me and asked what was in my order. The other customers did not receive that same treatment. I was being monitored, and I was treated as if I would steal someone’s order. On a separate occasion, my sister had gone for a pickup. Not knowing there were forks in the bag, she went to the plastic fork section. The employee saw her and rudely said, “Can I help you?”. After my sister mentioned she was getting forks for her food, the employee rudely said, “There’s already forks in your bag”. My sister was also singled out and monitored, and the employee automatically assumed she was doing something wrong. It’s unfortunate that we have both experienced this, and because of this we, as well as people near to us do not frequent the location anymore. My sister and I do both happen to be Black. We haven’t had trouble with other employees, but I hope there can be training for all employees, or this specific employee on how to treat all customers equally.

Camarillo has been the best location..I have tried Ventura and it was someone else's order..??? and when they fixed it...it was still wrong...not anyone's fault ...it happens....but it has not happened in Cam...

Restaurant was clean. Team was helpful. Sofia at the register was FANTASTIC! She was so sweet and made my son feel heard and special when he placed his order. She was super sweet. Food came out quick and very delicious!
