This is a Mongolian grill where you put food from a meat and veggies bar into a bowl and add your own sauce combination. Then you take it over to the chef who cooks your food on a very large, circular grill and adds rice to your dish on the side. The hostess/waitress brings you sesame buns and fried wonton skins and takes your drink order.

Wok & South in Camarillo has really gone downhill. What used to be a decent spot for Mongolian BBQ is now just a dump. The place feels dirty, the staff couldn’t care less, and the food has gotten worse every time I’ve come back hoping for improvement. Greasy, bland, and just thrown together with no care. The tables were sticky, the floors were a mess, and the whole place felt neglected. It’s like no one there even tries anymore. Definitely not coming back.

We have never had a meal cooked on a wok like this. It was really neat to build our own bowls and then see them cooked on the wok. Very quickly cooked, at that. The meal was delicious and we can’t wait to go back for more.

Walked in and the server was already over it. The walls and benches where dirty and sticky. Its a all you can eat/make your own bowl yet they were laughing at my boyfriends bowl. Made it feel unwelcoming. The cook was awesome super nice and made everything quick. The food was eh, the meat was dry and there was flies coming out and around the onions and mushrooms. They give wontons typically they have a filling but this time they were basically chips. Just seemed off

Place is dirty, feels like the owners are lazy and checked out and don't care. The meat was dry, some veggies were wilted and sad looking, and the food was bland even after I used like 5 scoops of various sauces on it. Other mall chains have been much better honestly. I won't be back.

First time dining here at this restaurant. So it’s a bit different from your typical restaurant experience. Definitely had a great time creating my own food using the ingredients provided to you. Also seeing yeh chef ?? cooking your food and serving it to you on another plate. The taste will vary from what you can put on your plate. But overall def delicious and highly recommend. Staff is very friendly always coming to check up on you to see if you need anything else. If you are in the Ventura county area def stop by and try it out you won’t be disappointed.
