someone spilled an entire bottle of liquid smoke into my dish. Refried beans, rice and carnitas. My first bit of the carnitas was a smokey surprise. Doable maybe even good. Until I tasted the rice and beans, same smokey flavor. Will not go back.

Yolanda’s Mexican Café is a fantastic place to enjoy authentic and flavorful Mexican food. The menu offers a wide variety of choices, from tacos and enchiladas to hearty burritos and fresh seafood dishes. The portions are generous, and every plate comes packed with delicious, bold flavors that taste homemade. The service is excellent. The staff are friendly, quick, and always welcoming. They make sure you’re comfortable, keep your drinks full, and bring out the food promptly. Their warm attitude adds a lot to the overall dining experience.

I really liked everything about Yolondas in Simi and in Camarillo. There is really nothing I can say that needs fixing. The food is delicious, the staff was attentive. There's a lot of parking. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I very rarely give 5 stars to anybody unless the establishment is exceptional and because when we asked for more napkins they gave us such a small amount. Which is probably petty of me but oh well! Other than that go grab some lunch or early dinner take your grandma's or mama's or your wives or girlfriend's or husbands' and boyfriends or dad's or whoever. Did I tell you the prices are excellente? Well they are!

The servers were really hard working, friendly and competent. I enjoyed the sauteed fish tacos immensely as well as my coconut margarita. Hubby enjoyed his fajitas. Great atmosphere with festive decor and beautiful murals. Only complaint is that on a Friday night, the parking lot is full and it was challenging to find a place to park.

This is more of a Tex-Mex place instead of a Mexican restaurant. The tamal was super dry. I will say this, the deluxe hamburger was amazing
